Evolutionary biology gives one a perspective that really humbles all aspects of life

Listened to this already but it's really worth listening to many times.

Another small info from my observation.

Almost all of the good scientists in biochemistry, genetic science and evolutionary biology are also great scholars in many subjects as their range of observation is perhaps able to bridge the gap between micro details and macro view in their manifestation in mundane life.

As their observations are unbiased, clarity of understanding is far superior and all of these percolates in their articulation of their thoughts, ideas, concepts as well. Mostly one can observe the synergy of dynamics of very high level of spiritual vibrations and frequencies beyond and besides the noises of institutionalised  religious dictates. You would come across many of these evolutionary biologists calling themselves as Darwinian agnostics or atheists ( including Dr. Ranganathan).

One can observe this phenomenon  starting from Le Comte du Nouy to Guy Murchie to the latest and at present the best writers Matt Ridley and Steven  Pinker who turned from a top Linguist into a great evolutionary biology expert.

Reading of evolutionary biology gives one a perspective that really humbles all aspects of life leading to a realization that  human beings are just another species but with some additional or, to be more precise, some other/different faculties which need to be put to optimum utility and sophistication for the benefit and improvement of human species and also help other species.
