Freedom, the Indian left liberal intellects
Freedom, the Indian left liberal intellects and how prism reveals true
colors of India
The word free too has two sides the brighter one goes in its
root to the word love itself but the darker one is an adverb you get something
free, not for free.
To quote from ‘Word Nerd’ ‘freebooter is a pirate,’ “frees” the “booty” from a ship. The elements of freedom are free and doom, but when the word came into English , this combination meant “condition of being judged to be free” and doom then meant “deem”.

Let us first move away from these media appropriated and
projected labels like ‘saffronization’ [O-orange] ejected
very often by the greenhorns of red brigade [ R-red]. It is an intentional tool
to divide with ideological label and paid media are master at that, perhaps
only at that as if there are two contrasting groups like saffron versus secular,
previously they were using communal versus secular and in the process they have
distorted the meaning of all these words beyond any sane recognition by their
meaningless usage. No one minds about main stream media’s Yellow
Journalism [Y-yellow] but bringing to light what pure white hearted souls from
all places and spheres have created the purple pages [V & I - Purple
representing Violet and Indigo] of past glory through their contributions
from dark ages agitates certain minds and they are green [G-green] with
jealousy how come those whom they have labeled repeatedly as belonging to dark
ages can become the blue-eyed [B-Blue] boys of rational perception across
the globe and what has happened to the white wash done by centuries of
political and academic hegemony? How come that white wash is revealing the
hidden colors of VIBGYOR beneath that white ? We must break those prisms?

used for nobles and the aristocrats and it indicated or referred more to ‘class
privilege than anything else’ this author incidentally writes “ India was
far advanced in many areas when the west was still groping about in dark ages”
So even taking it literally liberty depends on what gives
you a feeling of high and it gets its identity with that and as indicated above
in modern media labeling it gets identified with anything that is perceived as
leftist socialistic concepts correctness and therefore, or to be more blunt and
precise, because of that very reason there is nothing lofty about the word
liberal itself. So if someone says he is very liberal minded means exactly that
‘he is identifying himself with a concept of correctness as defined and
determined by the leftist socialistic ideology and it varies from country to
country.
The left must be credited for mutilating even the very meaning of the word by the connotations that they have given it and the brand building exercises that they have carried on.

Women’s Freedom and feminism
Women’s Freedom
What is freedom for feminism? Why is it delayed and discussed
very often but never delivered?
Can it be achieved if it is approached like a macroeconomic
project or do we require the attitudinal changes to be effected at micro level?
The freedom gets delayed very often due to the very way and
the terminological / the doctrinal cages within which we discuss and debate the
issue.
Again the mistake is reducing one gender of human beings as
only physical objects and discussing everything around that premise but unfortunately
that is and has been the trend from time immemorial.
The malady is not confined to only casting women in the mold
of certain shapes, sizes and figures, the insult goes beyond merely physical it
goes on to psychological, social, cultural, religious etc biases based on
various factors many of which are justified as aspects of tradition, as if all
other aspects of tradition, involving men are carried on intact.
The role of women has been required to be the same whereas that
of men have changed and enjoyed all the privileges, sometimes at the cost of
women, from the time men were, at least some, hunting tribes to now haunting
rapists.
This does not mean that I am pandering to some ultra revolutionist
ideas to score some brownie points But this also does not mean that we must
forsake or forget or view negatively à la certain professional feminist groups questioning
the importance given to certain biologically determined superior roles that the feminine gender is blessed with [like
being a mother and giving birth to another life] as if it is a limiting factor
, on the contrary what a great joy and privilege it is, to be a mother.
Two dangerous approaches which will never allow larger
sections of human beings the actual plight/progress preventing aspects of womanhood
are: - one scripting sensational stuffs, adrenal provoking preaching or leftists’
one sided sloganeering with a selective/narrow hidden agenda/propaganda of
finding faults or provoking a sense of perennial victim hood only with
particular social/religious systems and two producing sickening status quo
promoting far rightists’ traditionalism.
Both these approaches prevent us from taking notice of /being
aware of how the whole society inflicts pain, indoctrinates its predefined identities
on womanhood and curtails their freedom in many areas of activities, and, in
addition, these approaches also prevent us from gradually rectifying the
mistake at every micro level within each family by creating atmospheres to
ensure enough freedom to women as very often to deny freedom to them men have
very handy existing literature,
prejudices, traditions etc to justify the stand.
Constant ideological indoctrination has also erased self
love from the hearts of many women.
So, through these write ups I have tried my level best to
portray my observations, reactions [ of appreciation and empathy towards women] and disgust at social perceptions and
treatment and how they impact the lives of women in general. Some of these have
been published in some magazines long back.

Life or product
Life or product
From the time I am born I become a product for my society,
unfortunately even for my parents. I need to be told how to behave which
includes as to how to sit, how to comb my hair, what dress to wear, never to
argue, listen to all advises from all corners.
The justification of my not being allowed to lead a life and
live a life is purportedly because ultimately I must be dispatched as a proper
product -good looking, well educated, earning enough, well behaved [which means
being silent and putting up a half smile that too only when allowed], aware of and
agreeing to all the traditional and religious requirements [visiting temples or
churches and be thorough with the religious scriptures irrespective of whether I
understand them, like them or follow them] and social obligations [which means
never to get in touch with my old friends of both sexes and to put on only
sanctioned hair styles and approved attire] and family obligations [which require
that I lose even the right to visit my own parents].
I hope by now all of you have identified the product it is
the girl child meant for a probable and unknown customer to whom sometimes she
is offered with additional incentives [ it is like if you buy car you take a TV free] like dowry.
This customer may use me as a software to fulfill the required
apps of his life like cooking for him, begetting him a child, taking care of
the child, nowadays earn as well, and sometimes worse still, taking care of his
entire family [like his mother, father, brothers and sisters etc] or use me as
an hardware, or a monitor, or a mouse, or a keyboard or a mere laptop bag, or a
chair to sit on and do his work.
Still from time immemorial the whole bunch of this
androcentric {1} society [consisting of fervent preachers of women’s liberation
freedom etc] has had no qualms about creating and using this product and in
many cases the products themselves willingly worked up to great levels to satisfy
the customers and in many cases the worst enemies of women have been other
women.
I appeal through this write up to all the parents to start
treating the daughters as human beings with freedom to have their own right to
explore, experience and enjoy life as they want to, of course ensuring to help
them, guide them when required and honor their wishes too.
In your enthusiasm to create a proper product for the
matrimonial market do not deprive the girls the joys of living and deny
yourself the joy of loving them grow and watch their soul blossom freely and
experience the joy of life.
For all the unbiased observers nature is taking a sweet
revenge that more and more girls are born who are outshining and outwitting
their male counter parts and I have no doubt
that woman power may gradually start making a more assertive as well as amiable contribution for
human development.
I am a life by myself neither to be groomed for the matrimonial
requirements nor a broom to clean up others miseries.
By nature I can reciprocate love and live.
