Everything boils down to atoms, molecules, particles etc. Where these molecules/ atoms with their chemical structure/ coding / composition originate from and what processes are required to make them into the following few main aspects:-

1. Universally available

2. Easily consumable and gets ingested into the system and reaches the part of the body where it is required.

3. Offer maximum relief/ remedy with minimum side effects.

All over the world for type 2 diabetes there is only medicine called metformin which comes with various brand names with different combinations.

This is extracted basically from a plant. Similarly, the basic medicine for BP is from a plant.

Having said these the chemicals​ ​in Fenugreek or lady's finger may be very good for health but to get enough potency of those chemicals to give appropriate effect to the body requires increasing the potency. What one may get from eating one kg of Fenugreek one may get in a tablet. The processes that increase the potency matter a lot.

It is like saying kanchipuram idli is the best rice item. From cooked rice ( saadham ) the momo / kozhukotai exterior to kozhama upma to arisi upma all are made out of rice. The processes that go to make different edible stuff out of these decide the shape, taste, purpose etc.

So, all these hyperbolic debates  against allopathy are plain stupidity.

Even all these anti​- allopathy campaigners when they have a fracture or heart attack need to resort to only allopathic treatment.

At the same time other alternative systems are not to be ridiculed. But they have limitations in fulfilling all the three factors indicated earlier.

Of late, there is this excess of noise in favor of our system of medicine, gurukul education over Macaulay's etc.

India has a ​student ​population of some 45 crores. So, one may need at least 30 crore Gurukuls, when we are struggling to provide even 30 thousand proper educational institutions. Certain things may have reached their expiry date for a reason to adopt some new things to synergistically move ahead in life especially in a globalized environment.

Certain old systems may have worked well in the remote past but may not be suitable now. 

I think this mass frenzied anti ​-​West​ attitude is becoming an empty and impractical neo​-​snobbishness. 

Synergy not subjective opinions matters

 ​1. Individual and subjective opinions do not matter in serious  issues. 

2. Yes till date undoubtedly, India is the global pharmacy that anyone and everyone in the healthcare industry anywhere in the world  knows. 

3. Yes, there are too many things wrong with our nation, with every political party, faith, ideology. So, are every nation.

4. There are also many positives in every nation and everything mentioned above.

5. There are nations, including USA where in many states they are abysmally running short of hospital beds , ventilators and even PPE kits and masks . 

6. Every individual must act responsibly.

7. It is easy to cheery pick , criticize and find fault with whatever is being done or not done.

8. Nothing absolves any government or individuals or political parties or religious outfits of any irresponsible acts. 

9. I always feel that instead of subjective introspection we must resort to self introspection and collective responsible behaviour. 

10. If we follow human evolution , which means evolution of everything bio, psycho, socio-, politico, scientific aspects without the interventions and instructions from religious, political, ideological basis ,  everything changes inevitably, incrementally, inexorably, gradually, spontaneously ..." Through the interactions of millions not by the designs or plans of a few". 

11. We must look out for positive synergy between us and everything in the outer world rather than viewing anything with bias ( for or against), animosity, confrontation as that will only eat up our mind space and lead to negative mindset.

12. While evaluating or judging anyone or anything let us avoid these things and while exploring the facts we must desist getting distracted from the following major traps:-

1. Mutilating the facts,

2. Analyzing them with preconceived notions or prejudices,

3. Generalizing the particular and particularizing the general,

4. Approaching facts with unloving criticism or uncritical love,

5. Evaluating facts with our pet isms or philosophies,

6. Resorting to statistical justifications,

7. Unleashing unworkable utopia,

8. Mask them with logical fallacies,

9. Bury them in pleasant jargons, and

10. Give historical justifications.

11.Uncritical love or unloving criticism.

12.  Over simplifying the complex or over complicating the simple.

13. Blind beliefs or blatant rejection without looking into the merit.

14 . Looking for trade off in everything is not wrong but we must also look at what reciprocal contribution we do or intend doing.

15. We cannot deligate personal responsibility to others.

16. Most parts of humanity realized the importance of self help during lockdown.

17. Everything under the sun need not be politicized as a conspiracy by a few or a manipulation by some or accredited to religious intervention as miracles.

18. The world does not operate in binaries of left or right, religious or irreligious, right or wrong, believers or non believers, capitalism or communism there are too many things ( many of them very nice) beyond, besides, behind, beneath, above and all around these binaries.

19. Fundamentally the universe is not earth centric , earth is not human centric, humanity is not any specific or particular ideology​/nation centric ( be it religious, political, economic, social).

20. Everything or everyone is either equally important or useless depending on what we expect or how we relate with them.

Global Village

​​We are in a connected world and it is a real global village.

Here we can enjoy the sojourn of bucolic beauty as well as encounter rustic behavior. 

We cannot afford to be xenophobic or nurture any racial or regional bias. 

We need to ensure that well entrenched or propped up pride of nationalism lives comfortably with inclusive and inevitable internationalism as a cooperative team contributing strengths with synergy  from all and for all, though this may sound too idealistic.

All or at least most of the natural laws and universally useful and accessible benefits of scientific and technological utilities to humanity as well as natural calamities transcend all barriers and impact humanity.

Whether they are the thousands of scientific discoveries, inventions, and technological tools, rational and humanitarian conduct, all of them have managed to dominate despite the nudges of religious, regional and all other limiting perspectives.

General Relevant Observations of Unbiased People and

SOP of popular leaders in social engineering.

Untenable uniformity and urge to unleash useless ideologies may not work anymore in real life as a tool of social engineering.      

1. Useless is the mere academic board room analysis based on statistics/ data crunching that is disconnected or disoriented from certain inherent and inevitable ground realities which form an intrinsic aspect and part of life of individuals like traditions, habits, culture, history, geographical benefits or constraints and a host of other concomitant factors that form the fabric of the social milieu.

2. Useless it is to push any single idea or ideology however great, good or mighty it may  presuming it to be a panacea for all societies located at different places and leading different styles of life. Basically, life and nature manifest their splendor of variety defying and denying all attempts to homogenize.

3. Useless it is to prescribe or to extrapolate ideologies incubated in the academic board rooms of any subject of study to major aspects of social life.

4. Useless is the presumptive arrogance born out of prosaic /theoretical /utopia of academic knowledge [ appropriating the label of intellectual and often devoid of even relevant practical experiments] to condescendingly dismiss all forms of social, cultural, historical and economic activities that do not go with some specific  board room academic ideology.

5. Usually, real life on ground evolves through multitude of adaptations organically in all realms.

6. Usually and fortunately, majority of humanity prioritizes living on earth and enjoying a life that is healthy, happy and peaceful over confirming to predefined ideological parameters. So, life does not want to fly away and hence does not require wings to fly either the extreme right wing or extreme left wing ideologies.

7. Usually, intelligent people are sensitive to others’ ways of life, others’ ideas, others’ ideologies [ may be called as tolerance in a single word] and grasp life and living conditions comprehensively and in totality and suggest, supply and see to it that overall socio-economic growth happens without jeopardizing too much the social peace and harmony. Therefore, they are aware of introducing and implementing contextually relevant measures focusing more on energizing a synergy which will gradually generate and stimulate an organic evolution of required and conducive conditions for the life of those in who want to live in harmony with health, happiness, peace and prosperity and none of these [happiness, harmony, peace etc] have any uniform and universal quantifiable measurement.

  

8. Usually popular leaders emerge not merely through spinning academic theories, appeasements, appealing promises and slogans, authoritarian arm twisting with appalling performance on ground. It is through performance for the benefit of maximum number of people that such popular leaders emerge, especially in large and big democracies. Their SOP is Socially Optimize Performance through Synergetic Opportunity for Participation of many.  

9. Usually such leaders are very much aware of and too tolerant not to get swayed by ideologies and the extrapolation of those ideologies with their well documented data [devoid of comprehensive ground realities], catchy slogans, patchy provocative victimhood peddling all of which get paraded through media and honored by some institutions.

10. Unfortunately, real popular leaders in present day cannot afford to toe the petrified perspectives perched on propaganda driven ideology with its putrefied perceptions and puerile publicity.

Rational and humane synergy

Natural cultural and national identity and affinity along with broader cosmopolitan global outlook and outreach are the manifestations of uncompromising firm sophistication and civilized life styles which allow space for rational  and humane synergy leading to accepting  diversity and assuring unity.

I choose this quote purely because this primarily explains and involves refraining seeing anything through the prism of any ‘ism’ and developing a synergy to keep in tune with everything.

I have been reading a lot of your [Subhash Kak’s] works and at the outset I would like to place my appreciation of your vast research and wide knowledge of the subjects that you deal with.

But having said that I feel we need to understand that life is a constant process of churning and for facility of identification and reference we classify many things with different terminologies.

Some of these terminologies become so well settled that they help us recognize, report and reevaluate whenever we encounter some similar things.

So, names and terminologies mostly are easy tools for recognition and classification but they do not confer any exclusive identity to one aspect of life against the other.

Therefore, in any field , if we allow the inherent energy of that field to freely flow without our pre-conception of it, we may encounter the interconnectivity , inter-relatedness and sometimes the inter-dependence as well, of  many of the entities that we tend to slice up for the convenience of our own easier frames of reference and understanding.

So, my mind , instinctively reacts whenever I come across the term ‘versus’ or usage of the term ‘and’ as if a tool to bridge the gaps between two entities.

It is true that while each entity by itself may exhibit some inherent characteristics and express some unique utility but not necessarily different perspective on life.

While polarity principle is inherent, most often, the differences are developed due to perceptional deficiencies.

It becomes all the more impelling to break this paradigm of even debating certain entities as different from one another especially if those entities are very vital aspects that seem to permeate with life as whole and play their inevitable part, of which our awareness may be of varying degrees of knowledge or ignorance.

These are mainly, and usually often debated arenas of science, philosophy and spirituality.

I have tried through observation as well study of materials available aplenty on all these three categories to understand what we mean by those very terms.

Without a clear cut definition of what we mean by each one these terms we mean be swimming in a verbally intoxicating cock tail of terminologies.

Here in the following links I lay forth my attempts to understand them with many sub links in them. So, it involves a long reading.

I welcome wider debates and discussions on these without any irrelevant ideological extrapolations.

There is this inevitable polarity principle in nature and evolution.

Like evolutionary biology, there are evolutionary trends, metamorphosis or constant changes in social systems, philosophies, sciences, linguistics, arts, languages and so on.

Unless we observe and study them i.e. the evolutionary trends /changes in all spheres of life with contextual relevance we may not live in tune with the whole of life and will continue to view life in bits and pieces.

Though it is easy to analyze life in bits and pieces but then that is a wrong perspective imbued with lot of inevitable prejudices.

As a result of this wrong perspective and attitude there is an unending list of these ‘versus’:-Faithful versus unfaithful; Religious versus irreligious; Science versus Religion; Science or religion versus spirituality; Tradition versus taboo; Technology versus Humanity.

I can elaborate the damage these perspectives have done to the development of humanity leading to petrified ideologies, putrefied perspectives, and puerile interpretation of many things and ended up viewing various polarity principles as paradoxes.

So, it is time for us to go beyond all divisive paradoxes and experience the synergy so that we may keep in tune with everything.

Synergy to become a global citizen and an human being is the need of the hour in an interconnected life and world.

Most vital, important and inevitable fact of life, any life and all lives is that in all aspects life is inter-related, inter- connected and inter-dependent.

World needs synergy in all spheres of life and therefore it would be better that human species refrain from selective and misplaced isolated evaluation of any culture or ideology.

So, any identity based [either religious, ideological, regional, linguistic, national etc] emotional hyper ventilation impregnated with mass hysterical frenzy clamoring for exclusivistic cocooning combined with xenophobia ,especially in modern times is fundamentally smacks of  naïveté on the part of whichever group that does it.

These symptoms are the manifestations of ill informed or propaganda propelled instigation of gullible victims or the products of victim hood peddlers.

What is needed is proper and unbiased information and rational and scientific education coupled with a sense of cohabitation taking into consideration the rationally acceptable sensitivities of the socio-cultural milieu where one lives, in other words help a peaceful and calm life for the society in which one lives. 

After all we, I mean human beings as a species, are sharing the resources of the planet earth along with other species with certain inevitable national boundaries.

There is nothing known as the perfect and best system and nothing is a panacea for all human problems.

But what humanity and unity need is feeling for all by all.

A question of synergy

Golden India will happen when Goals are Done with a very candid acceptance of our weaknesses and approach life and living with contextually relevant perspectives.

With this attitude we must start  making a  conscious endeavor to create synergy between on the one side the multiple raw talents, millions of natural resources, myriads of  useful traditions and cultures [ all of these of contextual relevance which help to enhance humanity on the whole in various spheres and many ways] and on the other a very clear cut scientific, systematic , structured, data driven, analytical approach so that in the long run the activities leading to fulfillment of goals do not relay on even on any single great individual-though that would be a great boon and motivating factor- but the systems in place will take care of them.

This synergy is needed in every sphere, I repeat in every sphere is necessary and it is a sacred marriage which can deliver great babies for a prosperous posterity.

Though we are all tempted to see India always as golden, it need not necessarily be just a future dream or hope or illusion.

This could be more out of our ethno centric pride mixed with nationalistic ferventness or fanaticism.

In a way it is also justifiable because the reality is we are a nation with immense unearthed and underutilized potential, so in that sense, yes, we need to ensure to deliver a Golden India –which means it is obviously a work in progress geared towards a future date of delivery.

But it is more than possible because we are nation with a pride of ancestry and hence with a great hope for future.
