Trade and business are global let us get it right

​We need to let certain facts set in.

The posting on Amazon making huge sales has instigated me to write briefly for want of time what I have in volumes to convey.​​

Business is global and global economic powers decide selective protectionism and collective sabotage. They can manipulate using quota, sanctions etc.

World leaders see trade as one more weapon in their artillery.

Citizens anywhere and anyhow have the option of choosing what is beneficial to them.

Smaller economies cannot afford to harp on protectionism under any name or rule.

When we fail to create institutions with facilities and faculties of the standard of Harvard or Princeton ( when we can do so easily) for years we pay in lakhs ( sometimes in crores) and choose to provide an almost life of servile obedience for our Indian students movements which are constantly under scanner in the name of academic discipline.

What is preventing India or Indian companies from selling its crops and food products like wheat, sugar, onion etc when there is excess production at low prices and kill others sellers in other countries with our low prices?

What is preventing Indian government from setting hospitals with best facilities and pay fat salaries to good and efficient doctors and retain them here?

What prevents India from providing great infrastructure and promote tourism. Why not an elevated metro or big winch connecting. Shimla , Mount Abu, Tirupathy, kanyakumari , Konarak and Assam?

ITC and TAJ group of hotel today won't get investment  but OYO and MakemyTrip will get it because they are able to market space, hotel is no  more hospitality industry it is space selling business where the food a customer wants can be ordered from outside.

Automobile is not a car or van manufacturing industry it is mobility industry.

Family or individual consumption is not item specific. I may buy a cooker, television, dress, mobile and medicines for myself or other members of my family if I can order all of these online at a cheaper price rather than travelling to various places, spending time , energy struggling for parking space or waiting for transport options. So, all purchases are consumption industry. No more home needs, pharma , garments etc.

India is exporting it's cheap manpower either skilled or highly educated or qualified to the same US where they need to pay 4 times the salary to their own citizens and that's why they are grumbling.

If consumers are anointed as the kings, then goods and services providers are the queens. 

Then quality, cost and prices are the aspects of romance.

Let us remember that  in love and war anything and everything is justifiable or justified

What prevents any Indian entrepreneurs from  engaging in these types of legalised transnational marketing and sales ( no more import or export) if one may call them so, of online trading.

We have TRAI which went nonexistent when AIRCELL closed its operations overnight. We have RBI which is silent when PMC has let down millions of people of their hard earned money.

So, when our own institutions are not able to control or ensure service or security despite all the good intentions and great efforts of the present government how can we even think of exercising any control over some international players.

In the same Pune area SUVARNA SAHAKARI CO-OP bank and before that similar CO-OP banks not only went bankrupt ( euphemism for either misuse of funds or abuse of customer faith or both) and the burden of loss was shifted to IOB. When there is history of middle class poor small investors getting duped by chitfunds in Tamil Nadu and Bengal and co-operative banks cheating in Maharastra then both the authorities giving permission and the gullible public must be vigilant or stop encouraging such entities.

Indian government, especially,  the present government which is prioritizing economic development must incentivise big businesses and investors to build great universities of excellence and hospitals of greatest care and specialization. 

We have two vital elements for  both these activities qualified people with relevant skill sets ,  vast areas of land and perhaps even some big investors both in India and overseas willing to invest why not encourage that?

Has Indian government ever quantified monetarily the vast amounts that get out of India for higher studies to USA, UK, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, RUSSIA, NEWZEALAND etc.

Rather study overseas is a brand which gets proudly imported and even inducted in vital places in India. All wealthy people go abroad for treatment ( ironically where Indian doctors perform surgeries and give treatment).

We as a nation have huge pride of ancestry but lack hope for the future because we have been tutored to put down own potential, mass opinion peddling main stream media sponsored by international propaganda mechanism has injected a sense of inferiority complex among us.

Though the present government with our Honorable PM Modi and his team is trying hard to bring back our forgotten ( fortunately not lost) glory back into our attitude, still the majority of the population have failed to realize what are the contextually relevant priorities for present day glory i.e. 

1.ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT as a GLOBAL POWER with all its concomitant benefits and therefore, a more broader COSMOPOLITAN OUTLOOK is needed beyond and besides our well cherished culture,  traditions and heritage.

2. Military might as a deterrence.

3. Intellectual and intelligent operations for national and global interest.

With these three  we can conquer the world through the strength of economic empowerment;  conquer the minds through soft power of our intelligent service​,​ and control thoughts of aggression and violence from any other nation through our military might.

There are thousands of things India and Indians can market; there are millions of ideas that get generated; thousands of activities that can be commercially made profitable.

Our ignorance, inability and unwillingness and different ( wrong ) priorities that are holding us back.

Have we quantified the enormous money that goes into the stereotyped and stupid film industry in the past 50 year?

Imagine just one tenth of it could have created 10 Harvard Universities.

We must not get swayed by knee jerk reactions promoted by mass media sponsored  opinions. Instead do some introspection. 

The most important App we need is a new AOP Attitude, Outlook and Perspective.

Definite clarity required on this rather than everyone trotting out statements with half baked knowledge.

Why must readers only be fed with news items which are a propaganda for poverty publicity; Left over Leftists ideologies, which incidentally must be kept in the attic of a museum for fossil genetic samples; villain -victim hood story line projection a la leftist ideological style;

Observe your lives, at least the survival aspects of it without brushing aside facts then accept that everyone lives on corporate activities, identities, salaries, sponsorship, ownership, activity, products , services etc but hypocritically do not want to even hear any of the genuine concerns of corporate houses, leave alone addressing them and helping them.

It is high time Indians shed this hypocrisy perpetuated and promoted by major media houses of making people get a thrill out of abusing ,questioning everything regarding corporate activity.

Touch your hearts and say whether you have not been through any of these identities. I work at, I manufacture, I won, I am employed at, I am part of etc.

Mind you- sports,music , films etc can thrive and grow only when it becomes an entertainment business;
education can have more facilities and improvements only when it is knowledge industry;
agriculture can develop only when it is agricultural industry;
why even all religions and their institutions can survive when it is religious business;
political parties can function with all their brand building activities only when it is managed like a proper corporate business;

nature will be taken care of only when it is seen as an obligation of environmental industry;

news reporting is media business;

your perceived losses/risks or actual losses/risks can be taken care only when it is addressed as insurance industry;

Scientific research can be carried on only when it converts into benefits in terms of technological industry;

your diseases can be taken care of and treated completely only when it is seen as health industry or medical business;

all transport facilities are infrastructure industry;

your picnics and vacations are tourism industry;

the hotels and resorts where you stay and enjoy your food is hospitality and food industry etc.

Let us remember the facts that the business of religion is business;

the business of politics is business;
the business of education is business and therefore business of business is also business.

Why should anyone grumble if someone talks in favor of corporate houses. If there is discrimination,partiality in treatment within or among different corporate sectors then complain.

Now tell me which business you are in and what corporate house you are identified with. If you don't want any of these resign to a remote forest and lead a life like an hermit, but then, you are not free because animal rights industry or conservation industry may eject you;

or if a wealthy person sights you and decides to become your disciple you will become a Monk /Saint and end up in ashram or mutt or guru industry.

So leave your business phobia or corporate phobia because the health industry has no cure for that nor can the religious business address that problem and the political business won't be foolish in wasting their time in attending to such unknown virus.

Be happy at least some media houses like this one are talking truth and not peddling brain washing leftists ideology of the dinosaur era..

Incidentally if you still have a problem the psychiatric industry can take care of that or the vaccine industry will develop a new vaccine for such phobias

Scientific Research

Researches in Science

I got this article two months back and I mailed to many. I even posted it if I remember correctly in FB group science matrix or something like that wherein only research students are members.

It is indeed pathetic that there is no actual real research at all nowadays it is either mixture of data , materials, existing literature in the specific field etc presented in a pleasant manner or inputs fed in by guides for a fee; there is no research in pure science at all unless it can advance some technology which can in turn propel some business or some research which can enhance the pharma industry  or pesticide industry or it must in some remote way help enhanced military operation, cyber scheming etc .

There  is also that purely academic elite pleasing field of very high research in the field of physics where  they keep piling hypotheses upon hypotheses and they are a virtual island of research pleasure loving crowds like the crowds at classical music concerts ,only they know its value and pleasure,,. However they are criticized by many other scientist who feels application in practical life, of these research works, which is the sine qua non of science is missing here, so they feel these research works are done more out of pleasure and aesthetic appeal rather than utility.  At present the business of all research is pure business. This is in the field of science and in other fields research is no research at all, it is vomiting of materials  gobbled up from search Engines, peppered with survey reports, sauced with statistics etc. Anyone involved in research in pure science with great enthusiasm is bound to get frustrated after some time seeing everything happening around to discourage the pursuit of research to the maximum.

The culture and context together offering a conducive atmosphere alone can encourage academics to work on certain fields or even for that matter any intellectual to embellish.

You can witness this trend operated impact manifesting in many fields. There was a period which encouraged great literature, there was a period which encouraged great movies, now it is filthy movies, there was a period when sitcoms were only about triangular love stories and romantic drivel like bold and beautiful, now we have better stuff like big bang theory, gray’s anatomy etc. There was a period which encouraged astronomical research very much, there was a period which promoted mathematical research, and there was then research in political and administrative reforms and economic systems throwing up lot of materials in social inventions.

Similarly there was a time from the late 17^th century till mid 19^th century when all scientific research were encouraged  and promoted and these scientific research produced industries and promoted military might and subsequently which then took an upper hand and started defining what are the areas in which scientific research must be confined to and who is to sponsor and for what purpose etc all these and the craze for taking credit for [ which is like eternal masturbation] discoveries and inventions have led to too much politics, bogus claims, suppression of really worthy works etc.

Justin Pollard’s book titled BOFINOLOGY which reveals the ugly ‘the real stories behind our greatest scientific discoveries’ like for example ‘”Archimedes never said ‘Eureka’ and hated baths anyway”, Thales “credited as ‘the father of science’, whose only real claim to fame is that he often fell into ditches” and this book reveals how eleven people have claimed to have invented the stream engine etc

However, beyond all these dirty politics and polluting trends and catastrophic cultures ,still , if there is any field of activity that has helped humanity’s advance more tangibly meaningful  and life in general more comfortable and brought people out of their caves of blind beliefs and trite traditions and helped them to see and savor the world with ease and in better ways than all the rest the credit must go and still goes to scientific inventions, discoveries and the multiple technologies that they have given to the world. In short it is a supra religion, along with bold philosophical inquiries, which has pushed aside the many useless diatribes of centuries of religious edicts, narrow ethnocentric pronouncements and bluffs of history which were irrelevant to life.

So, with all the hindrances, still, one may pursue research as a hobby or at least munch it in mind and mindfully follow it up whenever one can afford it. I wish all of you read the wonderful book by Thomas Crump ‘A brief history of science as seen through the development of scientific instruments’ to get an idea as to how these inventions have shaped our lives in many ways.

Unless one is rich like Michio Kaku doing serious research is out of the reach of many well  meaning middle class students for many of whom research will remain either a journey of many failed attempts to succeed or a frustrating dream, but that need not necessarily discourage anyone because researches, discoveries and inventions are always useful sometimes they result in fruitful and satisfactory outcomes to those involved and other times the credit goes to someone else or the fruits or benefits of research come out through some other source from somewhere else, it benefits humanity all the same.

So criticism of all the ugly aspects of research is not to discourage researchers and research works but either do away with these ugly aspects or proceed with researches ignoring these ugly aspects and politics.

Life is an unmapped atlas which gets its maps based on our choices, beliefs, actions, reactions, thoughts, attitudes etc and it is our hands to make each one of these continents as great and as good as possible.
