While rumours, gossips and conspiracy theories peddling were as old as human life, what surprises many is why there is proliferation of them now?

While everyone knows there is too much of information in too many avenues with easy accessibility which is good for the society. It is better to have some information rather than no information and all the better to have easy access to information. 

While MSM is tossed up in opinionated and/or ideologically driven narratives SM media is over crowded with people either parroting or venting some frustration, desperation or real justifiable concerns.

What may get eluded by these unending and constant noise of information may be truth, facts and most importantly the seeking of solutions, leave alone suggesting or working on solutions. 

That ultimately, stays within the circle of domain specialists, decision makers.

Also, we must all become aware that after the advent of WTO the member countries at normal times cannot violate commitments on trade.

So, if we analyse at the end of the day, collectively, the total amount of time and energy spent by everyone on every issue and see if that could have been better utilised to address some tiny problem somewhere, I think that would be a real positive move. In a way​ the stealing of personal time and energy from every individual's life by these MSM & SM in a way is actually very costly.
