One can't run away from identities ( adayalangal).
One need not work towards creating one but one will be assigned one from the time one is born.
Even if one tries to shed and run away from identities, still, one will be identified as a monk ( thuravi).
One must not get obsessively attached to one's own identity to the extent of not observing, appreciating ( if they are worth it) other identities.
One need not accept other identities, but one can choose to tolerate or to ignore them.
But trying or claiming to live without an identity is at best an utopia.
As Rabindranath Tagore said, ' it will be like leading a life of inane vaccum or vacucous inanity'.
