Yes not only this there are too many other micro issues which will elude all means of surveillance and which can also manifest as macro problems all of which cannot be confined even in volumes of analysis and reportage.
In this part of the globe loyalty is a passing cloud. So, even well trained and entrusted spies are double edged swords
Besides, Chinese are now feeling the heat of excessive oppression internally which when exposed to even the slightest opportunity of freedom and gentleness they grab with joy but as they are overwhelmed by their new found environment they don't even want to handle that and relish it . Instead they react in multiple ways, some of which are counter productive. This manifests at individual as well as at collective psychological levels. They are hyper active, smart and ambitious but look at scaling great heights in the short term. When this attitude does not deliver the expected results they get frustrated.
As a nation they have fallen down too quickly from a land of wisdom to oppressive regimental boredom unaware of the many dimensions of freedom.
