Yes, though new technologies are more than welcome in terms of the facilities they offer, the hype and publicity may mislead through exaggerations.
Like the terms 'always' and 'eternal' used by religion to convey to human beings whose life is 'mortal' and 'temporary', technologists use the term ' infinite capabilities?'
Though every technology is an enabler and extension of human capabilities as well as imaginations, there are also certain inherent limitations. Like a flight can fly anywhere at any speed but depends on fuel and has to halt somewhere.
However, the conservative wisdom prevails and views things in terms of actual 'delivery' of either some tangible product/ consumable or service which has 'proportionate' ' trade of' in terms of providing value addition, utility, comfort, enjoyment , happiness etc, that such 'delivery' can add to life and society.
Everything "evolves through inevitable changes which are incremental, inexorable, spontaneous and gradual".
Reality in every issue may not always fit into certain preferred templates and/or temptations of statistical data, mathematical models, sample surveys but may lay on ground in real situational experiences and hence may be besides and beyond those templates.
