Be it an individual or a nation the process of growth happens through influences, impacts and resistances

These are at least brought to light in the common domain, though too late, better than never.

The biggest damages to any nation are caused by the indifference of the so called academic intellectuals and decision makers; the indifference to ' overall socio-economic development and the failure to generate a collective sense of pride in the native cultures, traditions, languages etc ( which need not mean not appreciating and assimilating different cultures, languages and traditions- in fact very few countries can claim to accept and to adopt other cultures better than India).

All above  being said it was not that Indians did not know these internal betrayers; it was not that Indians did not know that almost all their history books ( those prescribed in curriculum from primary school to PGs) were merely copied from what the ruling class of the West wanted to be disseminated to the masses. Be it the much hyped prescribed text books by Mulkraj Anand or the ones written by scums like Tappers and Ramachandra Guhas.

Be it an individual or a nation the process of growth happens through influences, impacts and resistances.

We allowed all influences good and bad even without realising the damage it was causing and certain values it was eroding because we were rendered impoverished by the colonial loots that for us priority was food, clothes and shelter and we did not have the luxury to even devote time and resources to promote or to propagate our glorious culture.

So, almost several decades of damage to be repaired will take a lot of time.

Once we become an economic power with a well organised institutional approach to push ahead the agenda with a missionary zeal, of course with some of the inevitable attractive modern trends, along with commercially self sustainable models, then gradually we will be able to make our glorious culture known to those who have been fed with lies.

There are a few examples of these already in religion the way ISKCON and  AKSHARDHAMS have penetrated; in sports the way BCCI has established its grip on the sports.

Our great weakness continues in media and education.
