Ethno- centric pride

 

As scientists more than me, a mere bystander , you people must look for and access, with the added benefit of internet and interact with domain specialists ( shedding our egos) from other parts of the world rather than behave like a frog in the well ( like most IIT & IIM start ups claim). 

Don't mistake me, let us not presume a natural organism is  exclusively visible and used only in India.  Many other parts of the world also it grows and is grown for different purposes.  There are enough research papers and multiple uses as well in other parts of the world. 

So, let us not strut around with ethno- centric pride as if Indians are the only one to know its uses.
