Global citizen and Worldology- what are basiaclly primarily required

52  Points about what makes a 21^st Century Global Citizen and why most main stream media are the stumbling blocks.

1] ‘21^st century global citizen’ will definitely emerge in large numbers but for that to happen main stream media has to refine or exercise some restraint.

2] Some people feel and communicate that it is necessary  to travel across the globe to become a ‘21^st century global citizen’ .The term ‘21^st century global citizen’ itself is based on certain presumptions.

3] ‘21^st century global citizen’ need not necessarily emerge only out of globetrotting but can evolve and emerge out of humane attitude, broader outlook ,proper perspective etc.

4] Let me set aside at present the debate as to whether  the slice of  21^st century in the loaf of  time is right or wrong or may or could be different from our ancient times or posterity.

5] I am happy to read some positive news on attempts to make people at least geographically hold on to the view beyond their ethnocentric pride and xenophobic aversion that life could be or possibly is better in other places as well as from people belonging to other cultures too.

6] At least an urge to be a global citizen beyond certain cases of weird preferences for seclusion like the Sentilese of Andaman Islands, or highly protected for purely scientific reasons like Lascaux caves in France or avoided like Ilha da Queimada Grande, or Snake Island located off the coast of Sao Paula, Brazil imbued with critically endangered golden Pitviper, with a bite that delivers hemotoxin venom.

7] Also a willingness to believe that there could be something to learn and enjoy not as a tourist but as an avid explorer trying to grasp life as it happens in other places or as lived by other people.

8] The suggestions from media that attending universities abroad or visiting other countries are welcome, even if they were sponsored by universities targeting foreign students and tourism companies wanting to increase their business as these are at least different from the usually negative news and reporting with unloving criticism on everything or attempts which make references to put down predominantly practiced or beneficial activities.

9] Sometimes there are also snide remarks with slight indignation at the enormous usage and utility of internet which enables people to be informed about the globe in the comforts of their homes with a click of a mouse.

10] But going by all the facts all citizens are not privileged to have globetrotting experience to get an international experience but everyone is well equipped with an inner self to have a global outlook and internationally acceptable attitude.

11] Global citizen is a great philosophical and sometimes an abstract idea; preferred wish of all sane human beings; a political, cultural, religious and social possibility which can be attained with help of various factors/aspects/subjects etc though some may view it as some utopia not a possible reality.

12] Becoming a global citizen requires in addition to geographical migrations and mingling [albeit they are also important-not merely as refugees or tourists] the following:-

13] Mentally moving beyond the moorings of all forms of identities without disrespecting or denouncing them but reviewing rationally their intrinsic importance and relevance in the context of present day life;

14] Carrying on beyond constraining default settings of life emphasized through various important and highly impactful spheres of life like the region/nation of birth, language, religion, culture of the place etc;

15] Ejecting thoughts of justifications and project reasons leading to well being, happiness, peace and harmony of many and protection of nature;

16] Avoid being judgmental with ideologically based ulterior motives, hidden agenda, clandestine contracts etc;

17] Perceiving without prejudice based on assigning or appropriating predefined labels;

18] Willingness to receive and relish with tolerance more information and knowledge about life with broader perspective,  unbiased attitude and open hearted outlook coupled with a proper perspective all of which use as frames of reference to perceive only those things/persons with contextual relevance and willingness to evaluate based on inherent merit;

19] Willingness to accept, to admire, to adopt and to assimilate in all realms of life as a whole or the wholeness of life;

20] Move away from obsessive paranoiac declared stands on many issues;

21] Desist from scripting any specific narrative for humanity as a whole;

22] Desist from presuming or prescribing anything as a panacea;

23] Above all realize that to become or to be a global citizen requires clarity, conviction and courage to consider all life as One, or humility to accept every life is just a similar part/particle of whole of life which can be termed as ‘Entity of Life or Energy of Life’ as this terminology can steer clear of any religious connotations or theistic debates or ideological overtones or political undercurrents.

24] The reality of becoming a ‘21^st century global citizen’ will emerge  out  of  individual’s intentions and  approaches and also active promotion of that idea by many institutions.

25] This process  would also expose the media menace of pandering to victimhood peddling, 

particular ideological projections, sometimes stinking negativism from overflow from the narrow gutters of certain ideologies;

26] It requires replenishing with some positive vibrations to create an oasis in the deserted lands of morning philosophers, unloving critics, and fault finding fanatics.

27] The extent of main stream media’s negative tilt reveals a very conditioned and confined mentality which is not at all healthy for public debate on any subject.

28] In fact it is a dangerous contagious infection that is being methodically spread among youth.

29] The manifestation of mass opinions, obsessions, and objectives takes various forms depending on certain inherent attributes, imbibed cultural attitudes or instructed methods of operation.

30] It provides greater burden or risk rather than any benefit by being an enemy of a whole group of people.

31] This applies to groups in all areas left, right and center and on both extremes of the spectrum the radical and pusillanimous.

32] It is difficult to define intentions, but easier to discern pretensions.

33] Science/technology has not come up with a machine which can deduct intentions.

34] It would be better that media and journalistic writing realize that they can no more manipulate minds through brain washing propaganda to generate ideological bias with an instinct to presume human life as homogenous and with ulterior motives and intentions to homogenize all.

35] This is not possible in an era of camera in every hand, social media communication happening in real time;

36] A stage may come when popular or popularized or paid media sponsored lies will become extinct species for the good of everyone.

37] Actually the media as a whole suffers from perception deficit and presumptive conclusions because they fail to realize that information dissemination is not their sole preserve anymore nor are people willing to get carried away by the credits they appropriate to themselves and the cunning labels they assign to some.

38] More importantly facts and truths seep out and spread in real time through mobile sets in every hand. Of course even in social media some elements exist who are bent on sensationalizing, creating controversies, conflicts and panic. But it is only an aberration whereas in main stream media negativism has become a rule.

39] It is high time that main stream media realize that they need to evolve from being an old  type writing machine and emerge into the age of Dictaphones.

40] Status quo addiction of main stream media which petrifies them along with their putrefied perceptions and puerile intentions are exposing them overwhelmingly that it may damage even the few sane journalists out of job because as an industry at this rate it will collapse as the coffers of their pay masters may also get dried up due to lack of return on investment.

41] Responsible mass opinion molders must report facts, observe certain self imposed norms geared towards helping as many human beings as possible to enhance their life in all aspects- physical, psychological, material etc without trying to wedge a divide.

42] For example differences as manifestations of variety are inevitable facts/facets of nature and life;

43] But creating a social or psychological divide and magnifying it is a function done by vested interest groups in all spheres who predominantly use media as a tool and this can preferably be avoided by sane and responsible persons.

44] Or even where there exists a divide it would be better not to dwell on that by constantly prioritizing it, super imposing it or letting it predominate all forms of debate and all domains of human existence or life itself as if it is the only or the most important factor of life over many other aspects of life.

45] The prisms of perceptions will slowly but surely break open the prisons of projections, pre –conceptions, presumptions and exclusive privileges.

46] Some positive attributes may preferably be promoted to enhance the possibility of creating real ‘21^st century global citizen’ like Forgiveness, Attitude appropriate to context, Compassion and Tolerance etc which have been rightly emphasized by all religions; along with creating tools that contribute to comfortable living and better understanding of life as a whole and the role of human beings in the totality of life which have been rightly prioritized and performed by all sciences.

47] I feel sometimes actions, reactions and human emotions when performed on the basis of this FACT can in fact effect an enormous change.

48] FACT here refers to Forgiveness, Attitude, Compassion and Tolerance.

Forgiveness can be actually embedded as a part of everyone's character or emotion or psychology by understanding and accepting the inevitable fact of life that we cannot expect compatibility on multiple aspects/factors in everyone that we come across or relate with, and worse still to the degree/intensity/quantity/extent that we wish such compatibility to be.

Attitude of appropriate contextually relevant reactions must be assiduously acquired and adopted.

Compassion must be cultivated as an inevitable part of character building.

Tolerance also must be inculcated as a part of emotional, social and psychological attitude, irrespective of any identity or multiple identities that one may have or entertain.

I call this as important FACT to become a ‘21^st century global citizen’.

49] We need to remember that we can neither deny nor defy the importance of anything or anyone.

50] Life is too vast and complex with some mysteries still unexplained and unraveled but not unexplainable.

Life, in short, is an unsolved jigsaw puzzle with several pieces constantly evolving to fit in appropriate slots.

51] The process involves constant churning, continuous learning and adjustment

Everything regarding life undergoes constant churning and many things come out and ultimately evolution of life selects what suits best or gets what it deserves.

52] Because whatever we do we need to remember one thing while all of us feel the need for unity, what unity needs is feeling for all by all.

Subbudu - A critic

A very worthy must watch documentary about this unique person.

 Preferably those above 50 years associated with Carnatic music or lived in Tamil Nadu between 60 to 90s.  

He represents a personification of candidness, conviction, courage and an uncompromising attitude.

One may not agree with all he says or all that he wrote. But he cemented the role of critic very well in music circles which were otherwise only wallowing in reciprocal praising and self congratulatory patting.

More importantly he also infused the need for necessary changes in tune with times without diluting the intrinsic quality.

Besides he always harked on the necessity of musicians and Rasikas to aesthetically appreciate the nuances of classism and also be updated on other aspects of life happening outside beyond getting cocooned in ritualistic traditions but insisted on retaining the classical aspects of music intact.

Even in my school and college days when I used to read him and later on when I  bumped into him in personal conversations twice he emphasized two things- come what may stick on to the essence of whatever you do/review and go ahead and say boldly and loudly what you feel with conviction and good intention and it does not matter how the other person takes it or interprets it. In way he was always hinting an attitude imbued with high egoism born out of conviction and care for standards like I often say 'those who like/understand what I say rise your hands and others please raise your standards'.

Here in this video those who have never come across his sharp tongue on various issues go through it even more sharper than his pen.

Of course he had such a huge impact and no one questioned his knowledge though they may have been hurt by his incisive criticism and sometimes unwarranted off the track pungent comments not in good taste.

In this video he rips apart the music academy hypocrisy, the migration of NRI audience, caste dominance, money and many more in his own style.

Though I would personally  prefer delivering a more refined and diplomatically worded criticism camouflaged as suggestion because pricking the pride of any performer be it a child, cook, artist, scientist, dancer may result invariably in rough reactions  which they may openly manifest  or fumble with silent sulkiness or feeble frustrations all of which create a overall negative impact.

Passion bridled with moderation is better received and also motives interest, involvement and attempts to understand otherwise it may create impact but may not be long lasting or motivating.

Unbridled passion can sometimes act like an inebriated individual out of control.

16th topic Media & Cultural Studies looks scary because present day main stream media has neither values nor knows anything about culture nor do they bother to study any subject .

 So best option is to encourage a mush room of non controversial and non confrontational multiple social media networks, if possible webcasting portals, small newspapers, if possible some TV channels etc with very attractive educative and science based programs, all types of entertainment from across the globe and intersperse the programs with cultural values, ideas, concepts etc that you want to impart without hurting and antagonizing any one or any group.

There are many subtle and discrete ways of doing things rather than rushing in blurting brash comments on media networks who will selectively cherry pick some words and zoom and blow them out of proportion.

17th topic is interesting but then writing involves  passion but that must be toned well with  certain amount of moderation to ensure long term sustenance in literature or to become useful manuals of reference for various circumstances and situations in life with  long term value like some scriptures, well documented concepts, speeches, thoughts, ideas, philosophies etc

BRAIN,BRAIN ,BRAIN

Any topic involving study of brain or any of its function is interesting, intriguing and infinitely puzzling.

This half to one KG meat in our species is an unsolved mystery.

So  discussing any topic connected with brain, mind, conscious awareness, thinking, memory  etc most of which form part of , if we can loosely call it , neuroscience .

In this subject there is no final statements can be made by anyone  irrespective of whichever approach they have opted for- scientific, structural, anatomical, biochemical, genomic, psychiatric, philosophical, spiritual, occult, scriptural rant etc.

In my humble view almost all functions of the brain in totality defies most of the explanations. 

Probably some functions can be explained or explained away.

I have been reading many books and trying to understand it and also through interactions, thanks to internet even with some of the leading evolutionary biologist.

Long back I bought a few encyclopedias on Mind, Psychology etc. Some of them must be with me and went about trying to lay my hands on as many of the reference books mentioned there, restricted by whatever was available at British Council library and Adyar Theosophical society library.

Many scholars spiritual and intellectual before the scientist have also tried to decipher the workings of various aspects, parts of human brain. Then later on scientist gave excellent explanations.

Starting from Adi Shankara to swami Vivekananda to Huxley to Bertrand Russell to J. Krishnamurthy to Colin Wilson to Le Comte Nuoy to Guy Murchie to Steven Pinker to Cral Jung to neuro scientist Ramachandran to name a few have helped me to enlarge my understanding about various workings of the brain.

Once a Harvard professor suggested me to read ‘How the mind works’, which I did read and enjoyed every bit of it. I asked him ‘can you suggest some book on ‘How to make it work’. He said jokingly ‘had I known I would not be teaching at Harvard nor talking to you.’

In the excellent book which I am reading at present ‘The Brain Supremacy-Notes from the Frontiers of neuroscience’- KATHLEEN  TAYLOR starts off

MAIN STREAM MEDIA -LET US IGNORE

Best way to deal with MSM is not to deal with it. 

1. Indian media has been dominated by a dangerous breed of leftover Indian Left who have also incidentally appropriated the label liberal [ a questionable term by itself]; pseudo intellectuals [whose knowledge is confined to what certain institutes in US of A want to feed] have appropriated the label intelligentsia; pseudo secularists [ here secularism is anything anti-Hindu and sometimes anti- Christian too because the chopping of a Christian professor's hand did not upset the concept of secularism].

2. These worthies have been funded and projected as the official intellectual voice of India by vested interest lobbies, PR mills, political dispensation that ruined India for 6 decades.

3. Is it not a scam to use public money to sponsor the trips abroad along with PM of UPA of selected private media houses? Why the present Govt is not probing into this? 

4. Anyway the media, most of the English media is anti-India and therefore is not likely to remain without peddling lies, engineering scandals, imputing motives to GOI, interpreting everything to implicate anyone who is not sponsoring them etc.

5. I have been writing a lot about MSM filth which is a actual malign cancer which impacts the collective psychology of Indian youth.

6. Though they will be left out gradually like the leftover LEFT or consigned Cong but then the damage would be heavy like it has happened to two great states Kerala and Bengal suffering without industrial development for 6 decades forcing them to migrate as nurses, laborers, chai vendors all over the globe while locally not allowing any company to function.

7. India has too many of these and needs to weed them out one by one for real development. More critics than performers; More media trials than all courts put together; More experts than victims or issues; More awards than deserving people; More political parties than number of constituencies; More NGOs working for poor than the number of actual poor people; More departments than number of bureaucrats; More criminals than police force; More companies than products manufactured; More news Channels [nuisance channels] than news items; Real Swatch Bharath needs to weed out some of these. Happy at least in one area there is voluntary cleaning up happening through return of awards similarly these media houses will close shop one by one wait and watch.

8. One of Modi’s greatest contributions to Indians is exposing maladies of MSM’s selective amnesia, collective indifference, and penchant for scandals, sensationalism, gossips, confirmation bias, and unwillingness to accept facts.

9. Media bias, like congress corruption has reached such a saturation point,similarly getting dumped so badly that actually less number of people are watching news channels and even those watching them are watching for brief period.

10. Only wish sense prevails among media persons, they bother to see facts before shoving in their unsolicited exalted judgments. FDI in media is a welcome and long due.

SENIORS IN BJP HELP YOUR GOVT

LIBERTY,FREEDOM AND PSEUDO INTELLECTUALS

Most of these so called intellectuals in India are left leaning, and therefore never learning anything liberals.

For my part I would like to say that the words Liberty and liberal have evolved through a very opaque things or systems etc it had referred to for example word liberty the etymology of the word liberty itself from the  Latin words "Liber," "Libera," and "Liberum" -- with a Long I -- came from the root meaning, "to pour." From this, we get the word "Liberty" (hence pronounced with a short I), from the freedom we feel when we get drunk ,  a sort of feeling high . So a lot depends on what you pour and what gives a feeling of high. If the same word ‘liber’with a long I -- means, "to peel," [from which the word library is supposed to have come ] and the word liberal from latin liberalis  “ noble, gracious, munificient” and according to one of the best books on history ‘History for a united world’ that I have read long back by an author calledEdward Herbert Dance  he mentions that the word liberty and liberal were used for nobles and the aristocrats and it indicated or referred more to ‘class privilege than anything else’ this author incidentally writes “  India was far advanced in many areas when the west was still groping about in dark ages”

So even taking it literally liberty depends on what gives you a feeling of high and it gets its identity with that and as indicated above in modern media labeling it gets identified with anything that is perceived as leftist socialistic concepts correctness and therefore, or to be more blunt and precise, because of that very reason there is nothing lofty about the word liberal itself. So if someone says he is very liberal minded means exactly that ‘he is identifying himself with a concept of correctness as defined and determined by the leftist socialistic ideology and it varies from country to country.  The left must be credited for mutilating even the very meaning of the word by the connotations that they have given it and the brand building exercises that they have carried on.

The word free too has two sides the brighter one goes in its root to the word love itself but the darker one is an adverb you get something free, not for free. To quote from ‘Word Nerd’ ‘freebooter is a pirate,”frees” the “booty” from a ship. The elements of freedom are free and doom, but when the word came into English , this combination meant “condition of being judged to be free” and doom then meant “deem”.

Let us first move away from these media appropriated and projected labels like ‘saffronization’ [O-orange] ejected very often by the greenhorns of red brigade [ R-red]. It is an intentional tool to divide with ideological label and paid media are master at that, perhaps only at that as if there are two contrasting groups like saffron versus secular, previously they were using communal versus secular and in the process they have distorted the meaning of all these words beyond any sane recognition by their meaningless usage. No one minds about main stream media’s Yellow Journalism [Y-yellow] but bringing to light what pure white hearted souls from all places and spheres have created the purple pages [V & I - Purple representing Violet and Indigo] of past glory through their contributions  from dark ages agitates certain minds and they are green [G-green] with jealousy how come those whom they have labeled repeatedly as belonging to dark ages can become the blue-eyed [B-Blue] boys of  rational perception across the globe and what has happened to the white wash done by centuries of political and academic hegemony? How come that white wash is revealing the hidden colors of  VIBGYOR beneath that white ? We must break those prisms?

Forgiveness

I feel sometimes certain human emotions are over rated, hyped and hence rendered excessively complicated.

In such cases we may probably resort to have the luxury of trying over simplification. 

Forgiveness is one such emotion.

It can be actually embedded as a part of everyone's character or emotion or psychology by understanding and accepting the inevitable fact of life that we cannot expect compatibility on multiple aspects/factors in everyone that we come across or relate with, and worse still to the degree/intensity/quantity/extent that we want such compatibility to be.

But forgiveness must not be misused as a license to repeat a fault/cheating behavior or attitude/hurting activity nor it must be misconstrued as an indifference or inefficiency of the one who is forgiving.

Unity,Peace, Harmony amid Variety- a heady cocktail

‘The complete Lodha Panel report on Reforms in Indian Cricket’ made me introspect on certain issues especially more because as usual some media houses have chosen to cherry pick and selective project only certain aspects of the report. I too decided to do a counter cherry picking, if you may call it as I do not have the in depth legal expertise to even fully clearly understand all the implications of such an elaborate and excellent report made by legal luminaries.

 

Is there any particular authorized version of arbitration of interpretations or specifically prescribed ideological or intellectual approvals for all activities/every activity/institution? If we stretch it to the logical extreme it could include the Rajya sabha consisting of unelected parliamentarians enjoying all, if not more privileges than the elected representatives which is the essence of parliamentary democracy.

 

Why everyone is so obsessively bothered about cricket administration? Is it because of the passion for the game? Or because of the money it generates? And/or the mileage it gives in terms of popularity?

 

The width of  aspects covered, the depth of details looked into and the many balanced observation obviously after wading through huge amount sane, sensitive, serious, superficial, solicited ,unsolicited observations, suggestions, comments, criticism etc is indeed really a tough task and it has resulted in the delivery of an elaborate and  excellent report taking into consideration mainly to ensure that justifiable and justified means of operation and functioning take place in the arena of cricket administration in tune with and assuring moral correctness, ethical standards, social obligations not but not the least the importance and improvement of the sport-cricket – around which all the other things are centered.

In India everybody who is somebody has at least a view on the game irrespective of participation or knowledge and is also very passionate, sometimes highly sensitive in their opinions both sensible and stupid. So it is all the more difficult to give a details report on the working of such an issue like cricket administration in India.

So it has become imperative on this report to address question of moral correctness, ethical standards, social obligations, sporting importance and since such a wide spectrum of factors are involved had to look into consideration the influence, importance, impact etc either positive or negative of all political undercurrents and regional socio-cultural overtones manifesting as various forms of bias.

All these demand that a report that intends to review and revamp the existing structure of existing institutes needs to be methodically and properly taken care of in such a way without much foul play, less partiality and more justifiable means of operation etc

To overcome all these through legal scrutiny makes the job all the more difficulty.

However, one is tempted to cherry pick certain aspects of the report and view them in the light certain other bigger institutions in India of greater importance as to find out are they functioning in a justifiable manner or the very existence of such institutions justifiable, a la planning commission?

Are we not encountering too many undefined or not easily definable or vaguely defined and highly relative and abstract terminologies which refer to certain presumed lofty ideological sign posts?

The terminologies that beg a definition with unquestionable clarity:-  

Moral correctness needs to define what is moral and more precisely what is correctness in that morality .

Ethical standards –what is ethical and what yardstick of measurement determines the standard as reference point.

Social obligation as majority of Indian population if not the whole society is involved/interested/connected in some way or other in cricket and therefore concerned about all its aspects.

Sporting importance, one of the international sports with enough publicity in which India has achieved enough in all aspects of this sport, namely cricket.

So in the interest of  all we may have to prioritize certain main issues involved here i.e cricket , its funding , sustenance, quick , efficient decision making which may not be hampered with too many stumbling blocks spoiling the smooth functioning of the whole game.

How do we define the terms in the above  sentence with specific reference to BCCI?

Page 6 of the report observes, “Most of those the Committee interacted with, were eager that the game of cricket be governed and administered conforming to the highest standards of management, ethics ,accountability and transparency worthy of the game, and that efficient decision making process should be institutionalised.”

Page 7 “Many officials of the various State Associations hold power without adhering to the basic principles of accountability and transparency by converting them into regional fiefdoms.” 

Is our constitutional body of gubernatorial post accountable, justified/justifiable with all its sprawling real estate space in many states and all its other paraphernalia followed by extraordinary post retirement benefits?

In fact if at all anything has to function effectively and sustained with some amount of continuity finance and power the wheels on which it can move about so political and corporate involvement is necessary but at the same time the wheels that move must be provided also with appropriate brakes [in the form of certain checks and balances, not hindrances].

Can any panel/commission ensure the conduct of Rajya sabha itself ?

Centuries ago, a great thinker called Plato had stated what has now become a real-life scenario in india, “good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws.”

All politicians are neither bad nor inefficient. Let us not generalize, what is wrong if they lead sports bodies?

We all must refrain from resorting to emotional populist reactions.

Sports persons need not necessarily be great administrators;

Bureaucrats need not necessarily be expected to be free of corruption;

All politicians need not necessarily be corrupt, criminal, ineffective, insincere there are /have been many exceptions;

Institutional rules and frameworks must ensure proper administrations, less corruption, less partiality, recognition of pure merit!

Advantage of politicians of all hues and colors is that some of them have a natural knack of decision making and administration because they can feel the pulse of situation much better-they only need to learn or be properly guided about the nitty-gritty of nuances of the domain;

All these are because politicians have wider contacts and connect because of their social activities and interactions at all levels and also move along with a clout, foot soldiers, and faithful followers

Besides, politicians do not hesitate to wield power to get things done.

Many politicians are sincere and serious about whatever they do at least for the mileage that they derive out of whatever they do and incidentally some of them are educated and concerned about certain field which are close to their heart and also are aware such activities contribute to some aspect of social welfare.

I am forced to bring in another player, the eternal pseudo chaps who poke their nose and try to capitalize on any/all populist issue.

They have resorted to cherry picking certain observations of the report and projecting it as if all politicians must become like detached monks to every activity while these worthies speak as if they are paragons of virtue, poster boys of moral and ethical standards and know all and judge all impeccable descendants of a superior species, I mean the media persons.

While politician bashing is always preferred filler for all media houses because it always pleases some section of the population.

Media, especially main stream media, to be more precise most 24/7 news [nuisance] channels, have to realize that social media is exposing all their lies, partialities, puerile priorities, putrefied projections , petrified prejudices, sensationalism seeking, their dubious designs, hidden agenda and arrogant anchor room arm chair struck verbal churning masquerading  as know-all and judge –all experts.

Business people who help feed so many families, politicians who help address many social issues are far better than many media persons who secrete only negativity, sensationalism, scandals and have forgotten positive news at all.
