Ya used this video just yesterday while talking about 'Team Work'.
My emphasis was that how spontaneous compassion triggers a sense of conscious responsibility that is devoid of considerations of trade off, compensations, obligation and a hoard of other external motivating factors.
I concluded with slides of how 'passion' and 'compassion' perform more tasks and much better than a multitude of incentives.
I have almost internalised the wise words of Sri Sri Ravishankar, when a vice -chancellor asked about how to tackle the issue of depression among youth.
“He said you definitely need 'Passion' to perform effectively but 'Dispassion' to carry on with shortcomings and failures. He said when you succeed in Passion you enjoy, when you have this 'Dispassion' then you do not 'hate yourself' between these two if you have 'Compassion' then you do not hate or blame others. So, he said you need Passion, Dispassion and Compassion -all the three.”
