Let educated people, especially those active
in public life avoid these types of stereotyped surveys, which force us to
acclaim certain specific identity when in reality we are not confined and
preferably must not get confined to any identity cage- why?
Because labels are
used subtly through certain terminological terrorism [like secularism,
communalism, saffronization etc ] to lure you to find out your brand of
preferred identity.
As a part of humor
they are ok but not on any serious ideology.
1. The word ‘liberal’ and ‘noble’ are the most
misused and misunderstood words, if you read History for a United World by
Dance you will know.
2. All these labels are based on the assumption of
fixed identities and ideological fixations.
3. Human
psyche/ideas/thought s/perceptions etc like human body also do undergo a
process of metamorphosis wherein at some time or other we would have been part
of one of these or some of these or all of these.
4. Even at the same time according to the context
we need to change labels like vehicle gears. Communitarian is a distorted term.
5. All these in practice and application differ
very much from definition." Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the
creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal
sharing of misery." and "The inherent vice of capitalism is the
unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal
sharing of miseries"- Winston Churchill and also read this one
http://katecarruthers.com/2005/02/alleged-quote-by-churchill-on-being-a-socialist-or-conservative/.
6. It is the greatest malady of/sick obsession of
the Western psyche to homogenize everything which has been perpetrated on the
whole of human perspective of perception by trying to homogenize the beauty and
subtle variety in life and categorize into some classification then lead all
discussion based on those homogenized classification.
7. This homogenization mania is carried on all
domains If we glimpse through the annals of history, we can observe this and
the several ways in which this has been carried out: by indoctrination, by
force, by cultural invasions, by wars etc. Throughout history it has failed
miserably. Be it the Roman Empire’s greed to spread its tentacles, be it the
attempt to homogenize religion which failed with Spanish Inquisition, be it
Nazism or Colonialism, all have failed. Once these attempts at homogenizing
cultures, beliefs, political ideologies have failed, now, the West is trying it
in Trade and Economy.
8. Now the whole media, including social media
resorts to this terminological terrorism whereby certain labels are assigned or
appropriated and then they are used as the base to develop the discourse like
communalism, secularism, saffronization etc and these are mostly marketed by
the greenhorns of red brigade.
9. Just yesterday I wrote a very long article on
people terming saffronization of history and India has no proper account of
history but only mythology which is misconstrued as history and people build an
edifice on that etc http://contentwriteups.blogspot.in/2015/07/history-and-controversies.html
10. Three days ago,
my friend Prof. Vaidyanathan [ of IIM
Bangalore] has rightly explained about
this terminological terrorism in his excellent lecture at Delhi Vivekananda
institute and did write to him my views about that excellent lecture link here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwOFBXoVr3E&feature=share
and my comments you can find there and also here http://contentwriteups.blogspot.in/2015/07/terminological-aberrations-and.html
