It is not so much about his predictions but his overall grasp, understanding, matured perspectives, clarity of thinking, candidness to call a spade a spade along with his incise intuitions and impeccable interpretations imbued with correct correlations and precise terminologies all of which led to make his articulations into melodious music to the ears and stimulation to the mind.

 

Such curiosity and clarity are what produced Bertrand Russell, Richard Feynman, Voltaire, Lecomte du Noüy, 

Charles Darwin,  William James, Swami Vivekananda, Bhagwan Ramana Maharshi, Kalidasa, Mahakavi Bharathiyar, J.Krishnamurti etc.,  

 

None of the above can be bottled inside a specific brand of subject. They all had overall understanding and concern for humanity and shook humanity from its slumber and complacency. What is so special about these individuals over the others?

 

It is all because the best probable perspective and better perception happen not by merely cramming the ears with repetitive  religious sermons ( however good they may claimed to be), not by merely inundating with information, data, knowledge, ideas, political thoughts, social theories, doctrines from the past ( albeit they may be useful guidelines, reference templates to start understanding certain things), not by merely glorifying certain cherry picked achievements in human history or exceptional cases of great prosperity and order( though they may have provide certain clues), not  by merely academically or intellectually analysing ( though they may help one grasp and understand better than through blind belief or feeble or firm faiths), not merely convincing through coincidences ( though they too may have some hidden mysteries), not merely subjecting something to philosophical scrutiny alone ( though again that is better than blind acceptance),not even though certain scientific principles because many scientific principles also have been proved otherwise or undergone modifications through constantly evolving better evidences or proofs.

 

So, in every or any frame of references mentioned above like religious , philosophical, data driven etc certain aspects may elude our attention and hence the overall understanding will have certain missing pieces to the whole jigsaw puzzle. 

 

However, when with a macro vision with as many micro details of multitude of most of the verticals ( mentioned above like philosophical, intellectual etc) used as frames of references with a spiritual dynamics ( meaning a dedicated, focused, frank , free spirit of inquiry with total intensity and intense totality along with immense serious, sincere and humble attempt to decipher, grasp and understand without biases, conditionings not to be glued to any particular frame of references at the expense of ignoring the rest ) then, the very process reveals in totality the various dimensions and interplay of dynamics of those dimensions and gives a better clarity and overall view to humbly accept the inevitability of certain eventualities, approach them effectively and handle them with maturity and sense of balance  

 

I like listening to him more for his bandwidth of perspectives and matured approach more than his predictions.
