A person who not merely did not know an iota of India's culture, traditions, ethos but led a royal life with his deep prejudices to anything Indian that he banned the use of harmonium in AIR.
Unfortunately, he was imposed on as a leader of India due to the whims and fancies of some. Worst part is the great irony that he wrote 'Discovery of India ' and it got almost the status of a reference book for many.
However, the Freudian slip popped, with the confession that instead of 'Life of India or Soul of India or Inherent Attributes of India or Strength of India' he started 'discovering a new land' or ' nation' after he was given the chair.
He knew neither the geography or history of the world but went on to write another book titled ' Glimpses of World History' which was more of a copy of some European text book.
We can go on and on about the damage and harm a single family inflicted on the nation.
