Victimhood and Victims

At the outset this excellent article in New York Times titled ‘The Real Victims of Victimhood’ by Arthur C.Brooks in the link given within brackets     

[ http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/27/opinion/sunday/the-real-victims-of-victimhood.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur&_r=0 ] has not only vindicated my long held observation and has made me get into certain depths of the issue discussed namely ‘victimhood’ and ‘Victimhood peddling as a profession’.

 

Any topic I normally throw into the cauldron of life in context as it is happening now along with all that has happened and churn it with a churn staff or kirn swee of contextually relevant observations.


Then it brings out the cream of vital intrinsic essence which may be expressed in certain Meta terminologies.

In this topic of victimhood it has in principle thrown out certain facts and also the socio-political and religio-cultural exploitation of gullible and vulnerable psychological and emotional states and economic status etc.

While we all must, in whatever ways we can and with whatever means we can afford to, first take cognizance of the facts and then at least attempt to address them.

At the same time we must also be aware of the peddlers of victimhood who make a business out of exaggerated or imagined projection with a well assigned label of exploitation.

The Meta terms [which by definition include manifestation of various degrees, intensities and dimensions of what they refer to] that come up when we churn the topic of victimhood in the cauldron of life are broadly speaking: - fear, poverty, identity crisis, lack of harmony in society and with nature, generating a feeling of deep desperation, creating a camouflaged crisis, frustration with many existing options/possibilities etc.

These two broad aspects /factors namely emotional states or economic status unleash an enormous amount of concomitant issues, ideologies, ism etc.

Victimhood peddlers are more visible and vocal than actual victims.

In many cases these very peddlers ’livelihood and identity thrive on continuation of victimhood.

So they suggest and vociferously propagate ideologies and activities which are preventing actual remedy- in some cases it is intended and in certain cases it is the outcome of ignorant assumptions, perverted presumptions, preconceived perceptions and ideological fixations.

Even when there is a gut-wrenching poverty and if we feel for it, as a short term measure or remedy we can feed or donate out of compassion.

But at the same time we must ensure to study, debate some basics of Public Policies, government plans, programs, implementations, various aspects of economics to ensure treating the malady and curing the ills of poverty and deliver as best as we can through multiple methods to cure the diseases of the victim rather than merely stop with projecting and getting a clandestine profit by perpetuating it or temporarily masking the symptoms of deep rooted malady.

Most of the victimhood peddlers belong to a group I call as DROPS in the ocean of life because they try to seek an identity predominantly through Demonstrations Rallies Opposing Protesting and Sloganeering.

They script emotionally appealing but logically fallacious stories of victim hood and illusions of ill treatment with exaggerated projection of inequalities without any workable and sensible permanent cure or remedy.

This entire scripting team is made with media nexus which makes its own business by working for certain political outfits to test the public reactions on ground political parties’ ideological or other  hidden agenda, ulterior motives, lurking suspicions etc

They normally instigate people between two extremes of phobia and philia.

They use two weapons of mass destruction perception deficit and presumptive conclusions.

They master the art of selective amnesia and collective indifference and ensure passive receptivity of the gullible and vulnerable.

In this process they  create an atmosphere in all places, in all ages leaving people culture less, pride less, identity less living a life in vacuous inanity and nurtured inferiority complex and a sense of victim hood where there is none.

Status quo addiction based on these petrifies these peddlers of victimhood along with their putrefied perceptions and puerile intentions which are constantly exposing them overwhelmingly but they fail to accept it because of their intoxication with victimhood peddling.

Once this modus operandi was initially used as a political brainwashing technique as a ploy to play by magnifying the societal disparities to dislodge the Empires in many parts of the world but then gradually these self appointed leaders of inequality uprooters  replaced the kings and carried on the same atrocities and enjoyed the same privileges as the kings knowing well that they could easily intoxicate the masses with catchy slogans, brainwashing ideological sign posts, selective presentation of victim hood etc  wherever the exigencies demand they clandestinely act as a conduit of funds to many.

They unfortunately become popular too in some illiterate environs and appropriated the labels of intelligentsia and/or left liberals etc and their success is manifest in their ability to let their brand of propaganda seep in and get stored in the subconscious of the victims.

They also create their own parasites and parrots in many institutions and media houses.

Terms: - Liberty, Liberal and Freedom

I would like to say that the words Liberty and liberal have evolved through a very opaque things or systems etc it had referred to for example word liberty the etymology of the word liberty itself from the  Latin words "Liber," "Libera," and "Liberum" -- with a Long I -- came from the root meaning, "to pour." From this, we get the word "Liberty" (hence pronounced with a short I), from the freedom we feel when we get drunk, a sort of feeling high. So a lot depends on what you pour and what gives a feeling of high.

If the same word ‘liber’with a long I -- means, "to peel," [from which the word library is supposed to have come ] and the word liberal from latin liberalis  “ noble, gracious, munificient” and according to one of the best books on history ‘History for a united world’ that I have read long back by an author called Edward Herbert Dance  mentions that the word liberty and liberal were used for nobles and the aristocrats and it indicated or referred more to ‘class privilege than anything else’

So even taking it literally liberty depends on what gives you a feeling of high and it gets its identity with that and as indicated above in modern media labeling it gets identified with anything that is perceived as leftist socialistic concepts correctness and therefore, or to be more blunt and precise, because of that very reason there is nothing lofty about the word liberal itself. So if someone says he is very liberal minded means exactly that ‘he is identifying himself with a concept of correctness as defined and determined by the leftist socialistic ideology and it varies from country to country. 

The left must be credited for mutilating even the very meaning of the word by the connotations that they have given it and the brand building exercises that they have carried on.

The word free too has two sides the brighter one goes in its root to the word love itself but the darker one is an adverb you get something free, not for free. To quote from ‘Word Nerd’ ‘freebooter is a pirate,”frees” the “booty” from a ship. The elements of freedom are free and doom, but when the word came into English , this combination meant “condition of being judged to be free” and doom then meant “deem”.

Most of these so called intellectuals are left leaning, and therefore never learning anything liberals.

The world is getting more well knit , better informed and therefore opting to choose predominantly politicians who can address on a priority basis the  economic well being then of course all other issues in order of priority for well  being and happiness of human beings and ensuring  a good environment for all now and for posterity.

So most successful politicians are aware of the rules of the game now, though certain inevitable activities, sometimes even quiet contradictory to the above referred aspects may be adopted for gaining political power and mileage.

So in general we must know all politicians need not necessarily be corrupt, criminal, ineffective, insincere there are /have been many exceptions;

Institutional rules and frameworks must/may/can ensure proper administrations, less corruption, less partiality, recognition of pure merit!

Advantage of politicians of all hues and colors is that some of them have a natural knack of decision making and administration because they can feel the pulse of situation much better-they only need to learn or be properly guided about the nitty-gritty of nuances of the domain;

All these are because politicians have wider contacts and connect because of their social activities and interactions at all levels and along without a clout, foot soldiers, faithful followers and besides politicians do not hesitate to wield power to get things done.

Many politicians are sincere are serious about whatever they do at least for the mileage that they derive out of the activities  and incidentally some of them are educated and concerned about social welfare.

While politician bashing is always a preferred filler for all media because it often pleases some, media, especially main stream media, to be more precise most 24/7 news [nuisance] channels have to realize that social media is exposing all their lies, partialities, puerile priorities, putrefied projections , petrified prejudices, sensationalism seeking, their dubious designs, hidden agenda and arrogant anchor room arm chair struck verbal churning masquerading  as know-all and judge –all experts.

Business people who help feed so many families, politicians who help address many social issues are far better than many media persons who secrete only negativity, sensationalism, scandals and have forgotten positive news at all.

Media profiling, projections, assigned labels, appropriations do not mean ‘Perception’. I have checked all dictionaries of English.

Ramanujan The great Mathematician





He started his journey on 17th March

April 14th is important in many ways. One of which that goes unreported is the great son of India whose journey into recognition as one of the greatest genius happened with his arrival in London on this Day.

We need to be reminded that top mathematicians have mined many theorems from his works and worked up their minds to find out how so many mind boggling theorems have popped out of a single mind.

Two great people were born on 22nd December one is this great genius and another is great soul, my mother.

My God, I could not stop reading the link given below at a stretch yesterday night. I am always amazed at this great genius, ordinary human being with an extraordinary brain. He is a reminder of people who can be labeled as a category of 'the greater the thinking the simpler the living'. The world is witness to many unschooled geniuses. But seldom on subjects as scientific and complicated as this, especially a wide range of contribution in mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, continued fractions etc.

I am very poor even in the basic Mathematics but I know its immense importance in terms of its application in almost all spheres of life. I have read many interesting books on mathematics and its relevance. I have also listened to many lectures about how India has been a great pioneer in some of the most advanced Mathematics which were even embedded in many ancient scriptures etc. Equally I have also read some interesting books on advanced number theories by Arabic scholars. 

This PDF gives brief accounts of this great genius whose life continues to be greater puzzle than the most complicated theorems he came up with, the complex mathematical problems he solved so easily, the great solutions he provided with ease to many unsolvable problems.

He was a man immersed in number who understood and interpreted everything connected with life through numbers.


French historian of Mathematics and author of the book, The Universal History of Numbers Georges Ifrah says,
"The Indian mind has always had for calculations and the handling of numbers an extraordinary inclination, ease and power, such as no other civilization in history ever possessed to the same degree. So much so that Indian culture regarded the science of numbers as the noblest of its arts...A thousand years ahead of Europeans, Indian savants knew that the zero and infinity were mutually inverse notions."

Claiming India to be the true birthplace of our numerals, Ifrah salutes the Indian researchers saying that the "...real inventors of this fundamental discovery, which is no less important than such feats as the mastery of fire, the development of agriculture, or the invention of the wheel, writing or the steam engine, were the mathematicians and astronomers of the Indian civilization: scholars who, unlike the Greeks, were concerned with practical applications and who were motivated by a kind of passion for both numbers and numerical calculations."

He refers to 24 evidences from scriptures from India, whose dates range from 1150 BC until 458 BC. Of particular interest is the work by Indian mathematician Bhaskaracharya known as Bhaskara (1150 BC) where he makes a reference to zero and the place-value system were invented by the god Brahma. In other words,  these notions were so well established in Indian thought and tradition that at this time they were considered to have always been used by humans, and thus to have constituted a "revelation" of the divinities.

"It was only after the eighth century BC, and doubtless due to the influence of the Indian Buddhist missionaries, that Chinese mathematicians introduced the use of zero in the form of a little circle or dot (signs that originated in India),...".
The early passion which Indian civilization had for high numbers was a significant factor contributing to the discovery of the place-value system, and not only offered the Indians the incentive to go beyond the "calculable" physical world, but also led to an understanding (much earlier than in our civilization) of the notion of mathematical infinity itself.

Sanskrit notation had an excellent conceptual quality. It was easy to use and moreover it facilitated the conception of the highest imaginable numbers. This is why it was so well suited to the most exuberant numerical or arithmetical-cosmogonic speculations of Indian culture."

"The Indian people were the only civilization to take the decisive step towards the perfection of numerical notation. We owe the discovery of modern numeration and the elaboration of the very foundations of written calculations to India alone."

"It is clear how much we owe to this brilliant civilization, and not only in the field of arithmetic; by opening the way to the generalization of the concept of the number, the Indian scholars enabled the rapid development of mathematics and exact sciences. In short, Indian science was born out of a mystical and religious culture and the etymology of the Sanskrit words used to describe numbers and the science of numbers bears witness to this fact. "

HOW DID THE MINIMALLY TRAINED, ISOLATED SRINIVASA RAMANUJAN, WITH LITTLE MORE THAN AN OUT-OF-DATE ELEMENTARY TEXTBOOK, ANTICIPATE SOME OF THE DEEPEST THEORETICAL PROBLEMS OF MATHEMATICS—INCLUDING CONCEPTS DISCOVERED ONLY AFTER HIS DEATH?
There is a form of Buddhism so potent, adherents say, that to hear its name spoken is to receive a promise of premature enlightenment, of early freedom from the wheel of incarnations. Something similar is true of Srinivasa Ramanujan, the super-genius who was born into deep poverty in an obscure part of southern India, who taught himself mathematics from a standard textbook, and in total isolation became a mathematician of such power that a hundred years after his death, at the age of thirty-two, the meaning of much of his work is still a mystery. In the middle of what I thought would be my life’s work, writing and producing music, I heard his story; now I find myself in graduate school studying number theory.

That even as he approached the infinite, Ramanujan found a wormhole through, and beyond. Even on his deathbed, mathematics was an act of worship. Worship of a single infinity, in infinite forms, all of them knowable.

Ramanujan was unfashionable. His body of work consisted of notebooks filled with short formulae, so there was no overarching theory to study, and formula writing had been out of style in serious mathematics for more than a century.2 The formulists had had their time. They were the sorcerers of math’s prehistory who had discovered the deep connections among the key concepts and encoded them in mathematical haiku. Modern mathematicians-in-training studied modern theorists, technicians who labored over proofs of narrowly defined conjectures, mastered this or that technique, and polished the gleaming apparatus free of fingerprints.
When Ono began to dig a little more deeply into Ramanujan’s formulae, he was surprised at the tangle of roots he encountered below the surface. Ramanujan’s crazy tricks linked up with some of the deepest concepts in math. They could not exist unless they concealed massive theoretical edifices.
Take the tau function, an oddity that Ramanujan discovered and studied during his five years at Cambridge. A function is a mathematical expression that, when fed with a number, produces another number. It’s a machine that takes some raw material and then stretches, compresses, reshapes, or transforms it into something else. Functions embody the relationships between numbers; they are central objects of study in number theory. Ramanujan found the tau function important enough to spend upward of thirty pages in his notebook exploring it, but it was hard for other mathematicians to see why he’d been so interested. On its face, there was nothing special about the tau function. Hardy, Ramanujan’s chief collaborator at Cambridge, worried that the tau function’s homeliness might lead future mathematicians to see it as a mathematical “backwater.” For decades after Ramanujan’s death, it was treated as one.
Then, in the 1960s, a French mathematician named Jean-Pierre Serre realized that the tau function was an unassuming front for a powerful force. Its existence could be explained only if there was a brand-new theory of functions encoded in it. Serre called this theory, suspected but not proven, the Galois representations. Not long after, the Belgian researcher Pierre Deligne proved that the Galois representations actually existed, and in the process clarified that the tau function was deeply connected to algebraic geometry and algebraic number theory. For proving the Galois representations, Deligne won a Fields Medal, the ne plus ultra of mathematical achievement, awarded every four years to a mathematician under the age of forty. In 1995, the Galois representations appeared as the key component of Andrew Wiles’s epochal proof of Fermat’s Last Theorem, the largest, most notorious open problem in mathematics, which had gone unproved for over three hundred years and was suspected of being unprovable. Wiles, forty-one when he published the final version of his proof, was ineligible for a Fields, which only seems unjust: no prize, not even a Fields medal, could be adequate to the mastery in his proof. When the International Mathematical Union convened to hand out Fields Medals that year, it created a special award for Wiles and, for the ceremony, built two stages: one for the Fields Medalists and one above it, where Wiles stood alone.
“All that, from Serre to the Fields medal to Wiles, is from only about ten or fifteen pages from Ramanujan’s notebooks, out of the hundreds that he wrote,” Ono says. “Which is typical! And in fact, studying the tau function, the British mathematician Louis Mordell proved some properties that were later developed into Hecke algebras and the Langlands program, among the two or three most important developments in twentieth-century math. And that’s from a different five pages of Ramanujan’s work on tau that have no intersection with the previous fifteen. In fact, it might be as short as a page. One page from Ramanujan’s work may have given birth to all that.”
There’s a subtlety here that needs to be made explicit. It’s not remarkable that Ramanujan’s work on the tau function led to interesting new mathematics. That kind of thing happens all the time; it’s how the subject advances.
With Ramanujan there is a seeming reversal of cause and effect. No one can write down a formula with deep, hidden properties unless they first know what the deep properties are that they are trying to encode. This is the way mathematicians understand math to work; it is the only way they—we—know to approach the subject. But the significance of the tau function—the reason to write it down—wasn’t discovered until Ramanujan had been dead for sixty years.
“There’s no way Ramanujan knew all these intermediate things,” says Ono. “The concepts [encoded in the tau function] didn’t exist when he was alive. That’s the mind-boggling part: Ramanujan anticipated the work of people who would live long after him. He had visions that said there were going to be some theories in the future. Somehow. He didn’t need any intermediate steps for him to anticipate that there would be all these subjects, and that he would find the first examples of them, and that they would go on to be the prototypes that we desperately needed to build our subjects. Whether he’s in fashion or out of fashion has more to do with us, with where we are in coming to grips with him.”
When Ono started looking into the mock-theta functions, there were a few hints as to what they might mean. They seemed to help describe the spread of cancer tumors, and physicists had begun to find them useful in understanding how black holes unravel space and time and how string theory knits them together. This was peculiar, since the concept of string theory didn’t exist in 1920, when Ramanujan wrote his letter, and black holes were brand-new objects of speculation among a handful of physicists. But still—when modern astrophysicists peer inside their black-hole models, they find they are looking at mock-theta functions.
Despite a few research applications, the mathematical understanding of mock-theta functions was in a bizarre state. Dozens of papers had been written on them, but no one could explain in the most basic sense what a mock-theta functionwas. When Ramanujan died, there were no clues anywhere in the mathematical literature to explain why he found the mock-theta functions interesting. It’s probably not going too far to say that, in fact, they weren’t interesting. All they did, Ramanujan wrote, was imitate a class of functions called the theta functions, which had been around for a century or so. In that time, the theta functions had been working perfectly on their own. No one had needed to imitate them. Ramanujan had produced a solution to a nonexistent problem. Who cares?would not have been an unreasonable response.
In the summer of 2012, Ono found that the only way he could understand the mock-theta functions was via Serre, Deligne, and others’ work on the tau function. This made no sense. It meant that it was not Ramanujan’s own work on tau that had led Ramanujan from tau to the mock thetas, but the work of others, of Serre and Deligne, that would not be carried out until he’d been dead for decades.
Ono had the sensation of Ramanujan walking in his footsteps, but from the wrong direction in time.
“Whatever Ramanujan was thinking about between the tau function and the deathbed letter somehow must have been parallel to what I was doing, without him knowing I was doing it, ninety years later,” he says.
With Ramanujan looking over his shoulder like a “chubby guardian angel,” Ono found that, as the numbers being spit out by the theta functions started to grow at an unimaginable speed, approaching and then far exceeding the number of atoms in the universe, the mock-theta functions began to imitate them with eerie precision. In the lower reaches of the number line, the behavior of the function and its doppelgänger was unlovely and chaotic. But out here, in the immense realms that had driven Cantor insane and enraged the European mathematics establishment, their relationship became clear. You could take the ludicrous, unmanageable output of a theta function, then subtract the ludicrous, unmanageable output of a mock-theta function, and the answer was shocking in its simplicity. The answer was 4.
With pencil and paper and pages of calculations in front of you, to see these titanic quantities consume each other so precisely bends the mind.
“It doesn’t take any imagination,” says Ono, “to recognize that four is a beautiful number.”
As Ramanujan lies dying, racing toward infinity, a dot of light appears in the great wall. The gleaming apparatus is about to crash, but the mock theta function does its crazy trick, and the infinite dissolves, just a little. A portal the size of an atom appears. The apparatus threads the hole. And then it keeps going, and going, and going…”

Debates,discussions, arguments, learning,knowledge etc

Discussion, debates, deliberations; gathering knowledge from as many sources and subjects;

Gaining insight into various ideas and thoughts;

Getting to know at least something about everything and to be able to acknowledge, if not accept, the various facets of any issue, ideology, subject etc;

Gather knowledge from as many sources as possible;

After all life is a constant process of learning and adjustment wherein we can neither deny nor defy the importance of anything or anyone.

The more ingredients are in the churning process of life and more tools or methods of churning;

Different containers used for materials we emerge more informed with greater quantity of knowledge even if we do not get better educated or more enlightened.

Once this edifice of massive knowledge is available especially from different perspectives then when the process of real realization, education or attempt to get enlightened starts it becomes that much easier.

So debate, argue we must always, even aggressively, but without getting personalized and observing certain amount of diplomacy, humility and basic respect for social platform.

Two days back I came across a very serious debate by a group of very enlightened persons on the inadequacy of science to provide convincing answers to many things.


But then there is no subject or scripture which can say with axiomatic certitude anything forever because ultimately the two great tools used as ultimate reference by human beings have not yet been fully understood by human beings and therefore are limited in application namely, Time and Space.

Classical Dance art and industry

I did not get much time to come out with my usual long stuff yesterday.

Sometimes as part of inevitable evolutionary trends certain things change whether they are better or worse only time [as a chronological duration] can reveal or whether they  continue to offer the same degree or intensity of impact in terms of experience that people who come into contact have had or whether they have any relevance at all at the present juncture or whether they can take a new avatar and reinvent into something really great and more resplendent than what it has been  till now or they are on the course of becoming extinct like a 36 film role camera, typewriters, alarm clocks,pendulum clocks etc.

There is a possibility that any of these or some of these can be true.  But we all must understand and accept certain inevitable laws of life and nature operating at  a macro level irrespective of our wishes and needs.

In certain areas is life is made of only repetitions, starting from our basic survival aspects like breathing, heart beat, eating, sleeping, urinating etc to getting married to begetting children to contracting diseases but the same time mentally or psychologically we also seek change, wider choice,variety and start sometimes getting bored with stereotypes, unless we experience a sense of joy, pleasure, happiness, or  reap some benefit out of such activity. That's why every time we listen to a Madurai Mani Iyer's kalapana swaram we get  a sense of joy, a renewed experience that  rejuvenates our spirits or every time we watch a Dhoni's helicopter shot sixer in the last over we feel happy.

Life is often tossed between the inevitable polarity of repetition and change.

I remember reading somewhere that he makes his home where living is best and when a scholar was asked about what is of vital importance when buying a home. It seems he said, “The three most important factors in buying a home are, location, location, location!”

Location in abstraction or conceptualization is not a mere geographical area of real estate space but it extends to the  context of a topic, theme, idea, subject, period , ideological milieu, reliving or living an experience etc

That’s why contextual/situational relevance is of primary importance.

All our actions, speech, thought, attitude must synchronize with that frequency.

Everything is situational or contextual that’s why none of the world’s religious scriptures have anything on cyber crime.

Solitude can eject several conceptualized situations psychologically.

The intensity of intimate feeling can bring any location in proximity mentally. For example today I was listening to a Lalgudi’s rendering while traveling in bus but my whole being was sitting in Krishna Gana Sabha in the 80s when Lalgudi was playing for K.V. Narayanaswamy’s  poorvikalyani raga.

Our spirits can be transported to any location that was the secret of clairvoyants, people with ESP etc.

The best location is one’s oneself in calmness, either naturally occurring in one’s inner self or worked up with conscious efforts and awareness methodically as part of personality development through clarity of perception of the contextual relevance, and then prioritizing thoughts and actions based on that relevance mostly with a sense of balance so that we are always in a peaceful and happy location within.

In this sense location is confined in dimensions of space and time but the exportation of the spirit and experience of the self in a particular or any specific atmosphere one wants to be in or chooses to be in.

Real danger awaits Indian metros –why?

What is common to Chennai floods, population growth in Delhi, Mumbai floods and Bangalore traffic jams?

Starting from Chennai floods devastation to yearly flooding of Mumbai and its overcrowded trains to exponentially increasing population of Delhi to perennially traffic jammed roads of Bangalore all are merely the symptoms on surface of a grave disease and a deep rooted malady which has not been addressed by Indian Governments seriously till 2014.

After NDA came to power in 2014 May they tried to address this issue but as usual nexus of some opposition parties long with vested interest NGOs and the ignorant and indifferent media anchor room judges contributed to stall this progressive step.

I was born in a village with a very fertile land so naturally agriculture was the primary as well as predominant activity and source of livelihood.

But I did not have good schools, obviously no college nor industry nor proper roads.

Like the human body requires various parts any geographical region also requires various activities and facilities to live.

So when I wanted my son to get educated I was forced to sell the agricultural land and migrate to suburb to work in some urban activity. 

However as we could not afford cost of living in metros we chose to reside some thirty KMS away from metro city traveled everyday to work. Travelling took 4 hours of our daily life.

Fortunately my children got educated they have obtained vehicle loans and are travelling everyday in their private individual vehicles two wheeler and four wheeler but spend almost the same amount of time everyday in travel.

We are not an isolated case leading this type of life style there are thousands like us who have migrated and lead a similar life and contributing to the growth of automobile industries, fuel industries and adding to pollution, back pain and pulmonary disorders.

When I thought of the vicious circle of this economic model where one’s problem enriches others’ business and went to visit the poor farmers in my village working hard and continue to be at the mercy of middlemen.

I felt that I must bring my leftover poor villagers also to this new found lifestyle of relative comforts with all its daily struggle in urban and suburban areas but I was astonished to find many NGOs making business out of poverty eradication programs and therefore had given these villagers a false sense of perennial hope masking eternal want and dependence on doles with controlled doting out of freebies.

Then I felt why we cannot have at least a bit of everything in every place.

It is in short, if described  devoid of jargons of specialist economists and management gurus, known as balanced overall economic development of all areas with at least basic infrastructure like roods, good schools, hospitals, industries etc so that we can avoid huge migration of everyone to the metro for a decent living.


This requires implementation of Land Acquisition Act but then political parties and NGOs who make a living by making people remain poor so that they can continue to peddle slogans of victimhood and ensure these poor people flock around them won’t allow India to develop everywhere with infrastructure.

It does not require a rocket scientist to identify the deep disease and also the obvious remedy.

Now that Land Acquisition Act is blocked by all vested interest status quo addicts the government can indirectly give lot of exemption and also extend tax benefits to those who start good schools, hospitals and industry in non urban and suburban areas, then reintroduce bills to bring in infrastructure development in villages.
