Life moves on

IT for security in highways

Prevention is better than cure.
Preparedness is better than prevention .
Macro perspective based attentive implementation of micro aspects is the best form of preparedness .
Constant monitoring can prevent catastrophic impact of calamities.
                                                                                      A dozen suggestions.
1. Fit low cost CCTV camera in front & back of vehicles linked to portal- help insurance, police department, alert nearest ambulance service.
●
2. Small drones can be sent to clear traffic for ambulance & also provide first aid materials
3. Wherever possible use helicopters to lift the injured.
4. Fit with automatic sensors to vehicles for explosives hidden inside.
5. Fit car, bus, truck roofs with solar panels to be used as alternative energy resource.
6. All these can be made mandatory for all new vehicles and old vehicles can be given time frame to comply with these.
7. These can check traffic violations, track and curtail terrorist activities.
8. With permission of Civil Aviation ministry satellite and drones must be used extensively to track movements of terror outfit and suspicious moments.
9. Excessive policing and monitoring are necessary for a highly populated country like India, especially at excessive policing and monitoring in all crowded areas like malls, markets, theatres, places of worship, tourist spots etc
10. All these monitoring devices can also help disseminating availability of various products and resources in different places.
11. Can also look at possibility of linking up some of these services with Google maps, relevant activity oriented places, for example nearby police station, hospital etc and use Indian postal department for delivering certain items in emergency.
12. All street lights, medians can be fitted with unbreakable CCTV cameras and most of these services can be outsourced through tender after determining relevant quantities.

Education and suicide

Very well written but I have a feeling that either too much of irrelevant education or excess of academics which may never be used or useful to life.

We need to get a deeper into various systems of education, teaching, learning etc and find out why they exist and for what purpose?

Media-the stumbling block

What people like me are against is the selective confirmation bias and surprising indifference.

While MSM hoists certain individuals as celebrities and starts to hunt after and hound them and delves into X –raying of every move, scanning of every wink and auscultation of every whisper.

I welcome these rare breed of MSM watch dogs using X-rays, MRIs, magnifying glasses, microscopes, telescopes, stethoscopes etc.

Surprisingly these MSMs destroyed all these equipments and went into hibernation like polar bears for 50 plus days when one of their pet celebrities went missing and could not be located by any radar or satellite, oh my, I forgot , it is known as respect for individual privacy.

I can get into more pungent and authentic details here but for reasons of diplomacy I am restraining myself.

Fortunately, neither dissemination of information nor biased opinions nor critical analysis of information is no more the preserve of a few self proclaimed intellects loitering in the editorial rooms of media houses or TV anchor rooms.

There are many saner souls who provide positive news about positive performances through many sources where information is accessible to the larger public.

Even the information doted through MSM is churned well by the discerning public who prefer to vote for economic development agenda recent examples are MP and Rajasthan where some TV anchors proclaimed the defeat of  the ruling party and pandered to the unruly behaviors of  some in parliament.

What irks more is the continued pessimism of MSM against India’s development story that is being scripted silently. Posterity will record facts and will not have perverted history written by Ramachandra Guhas and Thappers.

Citizens of India are now very  alert.

There are positive vibrations in economy, in governance [recently married with government late marriage after 60 plus years], in perceptions, in performances but negativity pollutes in and through the media.

No one can ignore  a cancer which is raising its ugly head through MSMs.

MSM - the stumbling block

You can heal a wound but you cannot stop the fingers that imagine an itch and scratch that place and end up creating a new wound like AAP.

Cong and Left have been removed from political space but the fingers of MSM get a pleasure in scratching an imagined itch otherwise what justification is there for asking for Sitaram Yetchury's opinion on every issue.

His party has fewer seats than many regional parties in parliament.

Why can't Government bring a bill or at least start a debate to disqualify the status of National party to any party with less than 10% of total Lok Sabha seats so that at least the public will be spared of listening to all non sense and lies that people like Sitaram Yetcury spit out in the television channels.

Media decadence

Decades of decadence of Media that I have been observing and its mafia and menace is reaching a saturation point that naturally people will discard them like they have done to some political outfits.
Let us wait and watch the fun but be ready with appropriate elegies for individuals who have contributed to this decadence, do not forget to use your choicest epithets appropriate to their profile, their petrified prejudices, putrefied projections, puerile perceptions, selective amnesia, collective indifference, cemented confirmation bias etc.
I shall try to collect and present here the many links that I have written about media menace for a longtime.

Important Truth

‘

Main mantra’ or ‘Important Truth’ is that everyone and everything  are  interrelated, interconnected and inter - dependent.
We can understand this through any subject or frame of reference by means of which we try to understand the dynamics of life or the web of life.
How we relate and what for we relate with others and things manifests in our thinking, actions and reactions and sometimes reveals in the consequences or results as well.
Our inherent attributes, acquired attitudes and contextual relevance determine the ultimate outcomes of our actions, thoughts and reactions.
Often our identity oriented living and various types of indoctrinations/conditioning  may prevent us from seeing the truth of the ‘Main Mantra’ or ‘Important Truth’. Or  powerful projection of polarity principle as divisive or opposed to each other may distract us from seeing this fact.
But contextually relevant merger of data and technology with critical thinking will lead to clarity of understanding the fact of  ‘Main mantra’ that everyone and everything  are interrelated, interconnected and inter – dependent. I would  like to emphasis that contextual relevance is of paramount importance  even when presenting  data in appealing visuals.
Reality of ‘Main mantra’
Entire gamut of what identity orientation can do?
Divisive  distractions of polarity principle
Contextually relevant merger of data and technology with critical thinking will lead to clarity of understanding the fact of  ‘Main mantra’.

Intelligentsia

Indian Intelligentsia -it is an insult to India as well as wrong usage of the word Intelligentsia .Unless you have the correct definition you can be always wrong.
These arachnids reporters and paid media wallas are crawling from cobwebs of ideologies safely secured in the attics of museum for fossil genetic samples.
Do not label as intelligentsia a group of puerile persons, putrefying propaganda peddlers with petrified ideologies.
At best some of them are academically qualified people misusing the media manifesting their two ailments one verbal diarrhea.
Two irresistible itch to sit on judgment on everyone and everything by resorting to manufacturing information to twisting facts to repeating sensational interpretations etc to suit their opinions which are invariably pre-determined by their pay masters.

So please do not label them as Indian intelligentsia, though unfortunately most popular media houses are infested with these types of creatures.

Poverty Alleviation

Poverty alleviation requires NGOs yes Nonchalant/ Natural ways of Generous Offering
from our purse, our hearts, our minds, our societies etc not necessarily to be operated only  through funded operations- even the ones without ulterior motives- which mostly resort to  short term remedies in all situations.

1.     I think basically the issue of poverty involves lot of things which on the whole is a bit complex in structure and therefore more complicated to find any quick fix or universal or homogenized solution.

2.     It is also an issue on which no one can afford to be indifferent even for their own selfish reasons because the presence and absence of poverty obviously manifests through pleasantness or problems for life.

3.     Mere preaching and pep talks may not alleviate poverty but can at least motivate many to work towards alleviating poverty.

4.     Sensationalizing it or subduing it with catchy slogans has not and is not going to offer solutions.

5.     Starting from lack of material resources to uncontrolled population to manipulative politics -which itself involves multiple factors -need to be taken into consideration along with dealing with lobbies which try to make a living out of or make a business out of poverty and who prioritize projecting and subtly perpetuating poverty for their own survival or identity.

6.     Any proposal/project/plan of poverty alleviation has to take into consideration the following aspects as well i.e. the situation/context and the intensity or degree of poverty.

7.     So along with compassion comprehensive action plan has to be put in place without any hidden agenda or ulterior motive, the two predominant factors of most funded ventures in the name of poverty alleviation, wherein the poverty alleviation is an incidental happening to achieve a wider or larger or ultimate goal with masked intentions.

8.     Coming to the question of compassion. How can it emerge? Why it has not even surfaced adequately after centuries of preaching by various religions and many good souls. For compassion to emerge we need, in the first place, some sort of education system and then ensure that it is embedded with humane values which are manifested in our daily lives.

9.     We need to create conducive atmosphere for peace and harmony, not a mere verbal pronouncement but as a real situation. Is it possible to have that? If not why?

10.  We must ensure to minimize the negative impact of excessive emphasis on identity orientation in everything starting from religion, culture, region, language, political ideology, economic system etc and a fanatical extension of this leads to less tolerance and lack of compassion.

11.  Poverty alleviation requires NGOs yes Nonchalant/ Natural ways of  Generous Offering from our purse, our hearts, our minds, our societies etc not necessarily to be operated only through funded operations- even the ones without ulterior motives- which mostly resort to short term remedies in all situations.

12.  Recapitulating the issues raised broadly value based education system, dealing with identity without denying it, doing away with institutions and individuals who make a business out of poverty, creating an atmosphere of peace and harmony etc and most of these are inter connected or interrelated.

14.  Identity –its whole gamut

“All of us have our own inner fears, beliefs, opinions. These inner assumptions rule and govern our lives. A suggestion has no power in and of itself. Its power arises from the fact that you accept it mentally.”
― Joseph Murphy, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

We must realize that the subconscious mind is the law of action and always expresses what the conscious mind has impressed on it. What we regularly entertain in our mind creates a conception of self. What we conceive ourselves to be, we become.” Grace Speare.

A question of identity

Reactions

Identity and reality

Identity is the result of fixations

Identity is the result of getting struck in the steps

Nothing wrong in being proud of identities and no one needs to hypocritically deny any particular identity.

But then what is reality

New Year with a New Realization of Reality

Let us be open

Peace and Harmony are defined indirectly by wanting too much of same Identity in everyone and everywhere and want of  Tolerance

privacy

RTI on money spent on Govt awards and ceremonies for them divert them to village development, Govt need not run any Film institute start good research labs instead.

Privacy, privacy where are you? are you up above the world so high with Omnipresent cameras, clairvoyant media, every minute updates in social media, MSMs enthusiasm to generate selective sensationalism and all these disseminated in a jiffy through handsets.

So, I think except in matters not meant for public consumption where is privacy? Or the need for it?

So, if benefits to common man, institutional functionality, requirements of scrutinizing institutions and investigative agencies etc are facilitated then these very reasons far outweigh the need for certain imported notions of privacy where you can do everything in public but cannot bath your own small child inside your house or let your own family members know your health problems.

I think we are a decent enough society, and sometimes hypocritical enough society [with very healthy public posturing and opinions and filthy intentions and private lives beneath them] to know what to reveal and what to hide.

Some media houses seem to know even all our military intelligence details, with their telescopes and microscopes whose scope of operation shrinks like a snail into its shell and fail to locate the whereabouts when some people are absent from parliament.

Misuse or abuse of power and position in politics or for that matter in any field depends on the individual.

Then what about MSMs conjectures, false projections, multiple trials without verification etc.

Facilitation of delivery of benefits to common man, institutional functionality far outweighs the need for certain imported notions of privacy.

Responsibility

                                                    Responsibility

Responsibility is again a very relative term and depends a lot on contextual relevance and perception and performance based on these.

In brief it is response + ability i.e . The ability to respond to specific context/situation and this involves choice, decision making, perception etc.

That’s why in a way the difference/ gap between irresponsibility and irrelevance are very thin.
So prioritizing anything at the wrong time or inappropriate situation/context is both irrelevant and irresponsible.

When talking of responsibility no one can avoid referring to Jean Paul Sartre, who declared boldly 'man is responsible for what he is?' In fact in terms of extreme logic existentialism and advaitha are very similar philosophical concepts.

On responsibility and freedom one may also refer to
