Geopolitics of the present day is filled with landmines with potential bombs which get masked by highly publicized, pompous parading in the form of glamourous and glossy global conferences and summits with widespread media coverage, usually, made to emanate from so- called great academic institutions and media houses which have created a well-publicized aura of neutrality, scholarship and global concern and hoard of other BS. 

 

However, no one can afford to be indifferent or ignore at least the basic knowledge or awareness of what goes on in that cozy club of economic and political power wielders propped by narrative peddlers in MSM and parroted by the gullible masses in the SM. 

 

We may choose to ignore but cannot avoid the impact of macro decisions, schemes, strategies ( all  euphemisms for manipulation) which manifest in every micro activity or issue. However, it is difficult to decipher the micro details of these global scheming by these cozy club which operates with all its hidden agendas, political undercurrents, clandestine control wielding overtones, lurking suspicion of nonparticipants ( like a particular street dogs won't allow any outside dog) , simmering discontent when some non-cooperative member becomes powerful and so on.

 

Then this club swings to initially subdue or resort to diplomatic wheedling, economic sanctions etc. When everything fails, they try to or start to use them as a resource ( like local governments making rowdies as policemen - Movie Catch Me if you can). The overall dynamics is too complex, complicated and intentionally a multitude of aspects are conflated to confuse. However, in general, if we can simplify modern day geopolitics, then, it may be broadly as follows. In the meantime, these organizations are like IPL teams, too many international organisations UN, NATO, NAM, SAARC, G-7, G-20, QUAD, latest BRICKS but none are meant to CEMENT the excessive imbalances and dangerous differences, each team wants to win, and every player must make new records to get medals.   

Some of the things are not even distinctly visible threads for us to decipher the knotty spots, rather it has no slubs and a clueless clew of knotted messy lump of  multi-coloured threads  soaked in thick mud of politicization further rendered fuzzy by the muddy waters of media interpretations.

I read his work ‘Grand Deception’ along with this interview I think he makes lot of practical observations rather than political ideology driven ones which make them more feasible especially the fact that the Western Europe starting from UK down to Italy is likely to get squeezed politically economically and end up losing their sphere of influence on many things that matter to humanity. It was waiting to happen as they  enjoyed their hegemony through  lurking manipulations, divide and rule policies, religious expansionism  for centuries and worst of all, in the recent century made USA pay for all Western Europe’s  so called posturing as a global power when it is actually a powerless dependent entity on every other country for everything starting from labour, to technology to manufacturing to raw material to energy. It is good that the Western Europe is put in spot for all its centuries of atrocities and acting as if the global umpire on every issue.

 Read the full thread to understand the gamut of factors that initiate, influence and impact the geopolitics of the present day. 

Just one over simplified account. This itself may make many wonder , even without any conspiracy theories we are living in a fragile world even uncertain of the exact reasons of fragility. 

Despite all the tall claims of access to information bla bla. The majority of the population lives in blissful ignorance,  while some choose indifference as long as the events do not reach their doors, while the few who are privy to and active participants in these socio-economic harakiri are silent beneficiaries. 

The post mortem reactionaries are used by the readily waiting victimhood peddling activists of all hues and colours who are professional anarchists and outrage society promoters and hence no one takes them seriously even in cases where they may be right because they have chosen to be left with the LEFT.
