Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’

It is not mythological concept. The biological world came into the existence from the single cell with genetic recombination and photosynthesis. It has given the ways for the organic evolution.

During the Photosynthesis theCO2 and H2O in the presence of Chl. And light produces Glucose with chemical energy.

The Carbon skeleton of the living-beings is due to the Carbon of Glucose and Chemical energy give strength for the metabolic reactions and development.

It has been expressed in symbolic fashion that due to the assimilated carbon, the world of the living-beings came in to the existence through evolution. Where assimilated carbon with chemical energy is every where and working in an integrated cyclic manner just like husband and wife work together in a family. Hence the concept ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumkam’ has been given.

The biological world is progeny of Assimilated carbon of Glucose and chemical energy. In the wedding hymns the whole process of photosynthesis has been described, it is synonym to our modern knowledge.

‘The Green house effect’ and Global warming with depletion of ozone layer has threatened the existence of life on the earth.

Now we are talking that earth is one, environment is one, and it is our common responsibility to safeguard the earth from disaster. The Vedic culture had also faced the same condition, with this the concept ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ the whole earth is our family came into light. It includes all the components of the nature. We need it today also to safeguard the earth from global warming and ozone depletion.

The global warming has been described in Athrvaveda and the presence of ozone layer has been expressed symbolically in the creation hymns and much more.

To have so much knowledge in the Vedic hymns is new for the world. Vedic Science was much more advance than our present day Science.

The Vedic culture and world peace

India is the home of Vedic culture, and cradle of civilization, but westernization of the intellectuals and the Marxist brain has polluted the Vedic culture on the name of ‘Hinduism’, and they use the term Islamophobia for the critics of Islam.

If the intellectuals can criticize the ‘Hindutva’ then the defenders of the ‘Hindutva’ have also the right to criticize the Islam for intolerance.

The ‘Hindu’ is open subject for the intellectuals, because it is not a religion as compared to Muslim religion. If ‘Hindu’ was a religion, then they may have not dared to criticize the Hinduism. It is only to appease Muslim vote bank, without knowing the facts.

The ‘Hindu’ is a term for Indians, imposed by the invaders for the people residing on the bank of Sindhu river. The British Govt. of India has given a different turn against the formation of Muslim league, and Veer Savarkar has raised the issue of ‘Hindutva’ for the Indians of India. Guru Golwalkar has given it another shape of ‘Sangh Parivar’ against the agenda of Muslim league, but the formation of Muslim league was not criticized.

After independence on the name of the so called religion, it became the policy of vote bank to criticize the ‘Hindu’ and every thing pertaining to Indian culture as fundamentalist. Even the Sanskrit, which was once the international language like English, they have compared it with Urdu, and the Yoga and Ayurveda, which have international importance for the mankind, became the traditional orthodox subject.

They do not know that they have harmed the Indian culture and integrity of India more than the British. Even they are ahead without shame to compare ‘Hindu’ organization as fascist and Nazi Hitler. No Indian can accept it.

It will not solve the problem, but it can widen the gape between the Indians. We are the descendents of Vedic culture, where there is no place for religious differentiation and religious fundamentalism. Every one is free to follow his spiritual traditions and rituals.

The Vedic culture emphasizes the harmony with nature, with the concept ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ the whole earth is our family. To have harmony with nature is not religious fundamentalism. The people can worship any natural component to satisfy his spiritual values, it is freedom of spiritualism in India. The world has to learn it from India. Otherwise world is going towards its peril, and we are supporting it.

To call Indian Vedic culture as a religion as compared to the Muslim or Christian on the name of ‘Hindu’ is a big sin and devaluation of Indian culture by the Indian intellectuals at their own.
