Yes differing views in language issue.
While there is proliferation in everything in nature, culture, social systems, religions, cults, ideas, technological innovations etc manifesting the marvels of variety why only the number of languages in usage have come down in number across the globe?
It is because communication , especially through language , is one of the greatest binding and unifying factor as well enabling tool for easy understanding without performing actual experiments or going through the rigors of experiencing.
Even gestures and symbols are socio-culture centric .
