Refined volition and not revolution will be the result of intellectual approach.

Lots of details from first hand accounts and anecdotal confirmations. Whatever may be the situation or position. The dispute of right or wrong cannot be resolved or at least attempted to be resolved through manifestations of gory, brutal violence in modern day when there are far better means of resolving differences through diplomatic niceties available in multiple platforms.

Fortunately, there are multiple options, in the present day, especially  the scope for expressing truth and trying to find solutions to even long standing unresolved problems.

Taking to armed violence either tacitly supported by state or openly funded and propped by the state is not likely to resolve anything except perpetuating animosities.

Refined volition and not revolution will be the result of intellectual approach.

Intellect generates through nurturing refined volitions rather than throwing up revolutions.

So, when intellect is involved, it is preferable to have refined volition rather than revolution.

These two terms ‘Volition’ and ‘Revolution’ indicate totally different connotations, the former a positive one and the later a negative one and their etymology too reflect that clearly. [Volition [n] the act of willing, choosing, or resolving; exercise of willing.

Etymology of volition: Latin volitio(n- ), from old French volo then Vouloir =‘I wish’

Revolution  [n] a sudden, complete, or marked change in something or some condition.

Etymology of Revolution Latin revolutio(n- ), from revolvere ‘roll back’=    replacement of an established or existing order or system]

Getting back to the topic of intellectual revolution, we must acknowledge that revolutions emanate as rightly pointed out from the vast ocean of various ideas and reactions.

Ideas in turn are inherited from the regional socio-cultural milieu where one is born and groomed in formative years or imported from a different or another socio-cultural milieu.

There are also a set of ancillary ideas that are generated as a result of innate or inherent reactions-either impulsive, identity based or ideology based- to the situations that prevail around that lead to promoting growth and development in certain aspects while preventing the same in certain other areas.

But to presume or project revolutions as  merely confined to economic conditions and social comforts alone is looking at only certain predominant aspects of revolutions.

Each individual and each social set up gets its satisfaction and sense of happiness from different things which include economic and social welfare as well as many other things.

Technology is enabling a vast majority to come out of ignorance and at least be aware of various conditions prevailing at different parts of the planet demarked by atlas of national boundaries, defined by socio-economic and political conditions ad at the same time nurtured by a culture of realization of certain basic common social responsibilities at least in the interest of species protection as a process on evolution.

However, certain basic conditions must exist at least to leverage on the benefits of technology.

Most likely future revolutions will involve ripping off human psyche from its adamant fixations and identities with irrelevant and out dated institutions that dictated the dos and don’ts of their life.

Besides these, there are many of aspects which must be factored in when we talk of revolution.

Otherwise revolution will only bring up the trite image of violent aggression unleashed as an off shoot of some ideology perpetrated through misguided manipulations of brainwashing propaganda.

Better and enhanced realization of actual social conditions or situations and economic wants along with chaffing off those irrelevant factors with the least damage to everything will be the next sane revolution.

This will ensure, though may not erase totally, the differences amid human race also some level playing field with basic economic needs and better social systems to ensure a smoother living for maximum number of people with the least damage to the environment and other species.

These will be accompanied by a culture of tolerance to try and nurture different ideas emanating from everywhere for overall benefit of all.

Wherein real wisdom will dawn on everyone, by wisdom I mean a

wisdom which is the workshop where works of evolutionary trends and experiences of everyone in it emerge to express wisely the essence of everything to enlighten everyone.

A wisdom which prioritizes living in the present context and along with practicing certain time-tested values which have relevance in present context but with global perspective to bequeath a liveable planet, a lovable society with lovely infrastructures and improved living conditions.

Most important aspect of wisdom when we discuss the topic of revolutions is to realize that they incubate in the mind space of individuals as ideas, thoughts, opinions, information and so on.

Therefore, those in responsible positions whose ideas, thoughts and opinions get enough attention and respect must in turn pay attention and respect the immense responsibility that they have as mass opinion moulders.

All these could be done with clear cut awareness along with acceptance and understanding of the inevitable realities of life like in a globalized world where we are all creatures of the same planet wherein xenophobic attitudes or ethnocentric pride will all be huge marks of psychological weaknesses and disadvantages.

We must accept the inevitability of identities without getting fanatically addicted to certain specific identities be they doctrinal, ideological, religious, political, economic, cultural and so on.

We must accept the inevitability of polarity principle which is part and parcel of evolutionary trends in all spheres of life starting from the biological to everything else and stop zooming it as division  or disparity or viewing it as either a paradox or playing victim hood where it is not intentionally or viciously inflicted.

We must accept the inevitability of becoming and gradually being global citizens without xenophobia.

We must accept the inevitability of, if at all required, evaluating everything and everyone with contextual relevance and based on the inherent attributes or merits of what or who is being evaluated without extrapolating our presumptions, opinions, judgments, perceptions, expectations, ideologies etc.

We must accept the inevitability of realizing that variety is indeed the SPICE of life.

Source,

Resource,

Inevitable,

Central

Essence of nature.

Most importantly we all must accept the inevitability, therefore, of realizing that homogenization and uniformity can never be the desired outcomes of any revolution because then that would lead us to further conflicts emanating from the inevitable fact of variety.

It is therefore, preferable that certain of these inevitabilities and the methods of dealing with them are made part of education, culture and nurtured attitudes to ensure that revolutions happen without causing too much of damage.

We may start from making minor adjustments, small compromises, spontaneous cooperation to create compatible and conducive atmosphere with humility devoid of any egocentric pride.

These along with the realization and a perspective that must be aware that life is a constant process of learning of the multiple dimensions of many things and the various dynamics of those dimensions involving the constant interaction and interrelationship with everyone and everything.

These must ensure to accommodate multiple methods or means of life with a overall tolerant attitude embedded on humanitarian concerns towards all human life and environmental or natural concern towards all other species.

It is creating and nurturing facts based, frank admission based functional volition that will lead to a better social evolution.

Refined volitions evolve from nurtured understanding while revolutions are mostly unleashed.

Ultimately natural evolution and natural laws always seem to consider the trade-off for anything that we do.

History and posterity too will evaluate based on the trade-off for whatever good or bad deed that we do.

I have at various times written on all the above factors or facets of life and living.

Geopolitics of Present Day may not be easily definable in one size fit all terminologies.

Geopolitics of Present Day may not be easily definable in one size fit all terminologies.

Politics of present day, more so, geopolitics, like every domain the human history, has acquired  various new aspects , dimensions and is subjected to multiple dynamics.

However, it has also retained certain fundamentals as part of its inevitable attribute, which are often confined to vote bank politics involving local/regional issues.

In way that is why we may say that  politics, especially electoral politics, and political outfits,  are social coelacanths ( living fossils that have stayed much the same while everything around has changed).

But at the same time trying to oversimplify or to over generalize and to ascribe a few conspiracy theories will make us not to take note of several factors which are uniquely regional, and context specific issue based.

Whatever be the ‘methods and terminologies’ [terminological terrorism is the first step-telesis of terminology is a subject that has been neglected consciously by linguistics psychology. Coining a terminology is to wind the coils of frame of references to perceive the world in a specific wired way-often in ideological binaries or dichotomies] that the West tries to use to homogenize [which incidentally is the curse of the Western conceptual approach which is against nature, and which has been responsible for setting an agenda of negative mindset which eventually has led to various human generated destructive actions].

This homogenization has led to hegemonize and command easily. If you want to list, all that we need to do is just to run through history, even the history that they themselves cannot deny.

A short list may run like this:- This globalization mania is the product of that incurable sick obsession of the western psyche, namely, homogenization.

If we glimpse through the annals of history, we can observe this and the several ways in which this has been carried out, by indoctrination, by force, by cultural invasions, by wars etc. Throughout history it has failed miserably.

Be it the Roman Empire’s greed to spread its tentacles , be it the attempt to homogenize religion which failed with Spanish Inquisition, be it Nazism or Colonialism, all have failed.

Once these attempts at homogenizing cultures, beliefs, political ideologies have failed, now, the West is trying it in Trade and Economy.

As before, it is bound to fail. But what we must learn from history and guard ourselves against is the heavy price that humanity may have to pay for facing and overcoming these attempts emanating from a few individuals charged with fanatical obsession in terms of religious wars, Nazism, Colonialism etc with all their destructive manifestations.

The impact of the previous obsession was restricted to specific geographical area as they collapsed before they could successfully spread everywhere. But the manifestations of the present obsession, read Globalization of trade and economy affects the lives of everyone on the globe, either directly or otherwise, and can cause irreparable trade imbalances, some environmental damage etc which can even render life miserable for future generations.

The world with all its species were and are always interconnected, interrelated and interdependent and that is the inevitable law of nature. It did not start when these terminologies were popped up.

We are in a more or excessively connected world, and it is a real global village [ why not call it as global metro or global heaven or global city or global town- because it has to appeal to the most gullible human beings who choose to live in villages, work their ass out and gawk at every new technology as if it has descended from some heaven – as portrayed in the movie ‘Gods Must be Crazy’.

Being a global village if one is lucky, may enjoy the sojourn of bucolic beauty or encounter rustic behaviour.

We cannot afford to be xenophobic or nurture any racial or regional bias.

We need to ensure that well entrenched or propped up pride of nationalism lives comfortably with inclusive and inevitable internationalism as a cooperative team.

Any mass frenzied anti -West attitude will be an empty and impractical neo-snobbishness. Similarly, the trite portrayal of the Orient as delayed civilizational world will be kicked out with all the choicest abuses that such portrayal deserves with all authentic evidence.

All or at least most of the natural laws and  universally useful and accessible benefits of scientific and technological utilities to humanity as well as natural calamities transcend all barriers to influence and to impact humanity equally.

Whether they are the thousands of scientific discoveries, inventions, technological tools, rational and humanitarian conduct all of them have managed to dominate despite the nudges of religious, regional and all other limiting perspectives.

This long preamble is necessary, as in the plays of George Bernard Shaw to set the context and tone.

Now, coming to present day geopolitics, it defies all sorts of or at least many predictable scheming, probable strategies, perceived conspiracy theories or  even populist propaganda as there are counter versions too every hyped publicity like phobia generation [ like global warming], victimhood peddling [as minority rights, racial discrimination etc].

Though obviously the ‘deep state players’, ‘mega financial institutions and many other tacit coalitions engaged to exploit the natural resources and enhance their respective control mechanisms are at play, they are not ‘the whole of geopolitics’.

Had it been some conceivable whole, then it would be easier to initiate and to instigate trouble as well as to advocate remedial measures.

Anarchies  and outrages have penetrated, into more domains, aided by, easily accessible multitude of advanced technologies than before.

So, geopolitics, too is not immune to these trends. Of course, there can be no denying of the role of  ‘The deep state’ and big financial institutions.

In short, I have tried, a few years back the overall picture of the present-day politics and geopolitics through these slides and I have also written at length about “The Deep State” which national leaders can ill afford to ignore.

Is it possible to de-clutter the unending debates on certain issues? Or is it possible to oversimplify certain things in ‘Black and White’?

Getting into the kerfuffle of the much mussed up subject of most of the happenings in political and economic fronts especially in present scenario would be risking reputations and exposing lack of lucid understanding.

It is dangerous to oversimplify something referred to by a single word or term for convenience of easy recognition. In reality , it may involve multiple factors of various hues and colours- clear, vague, intentionally masked etc-all very clumsily and inextricably interwoven and messily struck together.

Some of the things are not even distinctly visible threads for us to decipher the knotty spots, rather it is having no slubs and a clueless clew of knotted messy lump of  multi-coloured threads [நூல் à®•ண்டு சிடுக்கு] soaked in thick mud of politicization further rendered fuzzy by the muddy waters of media interpretations.

What is predominantly being done is reacting to reactions and presumed repercussions.

While some may try,  sincerely, to decipher the long-term implications and impacts of certain happenings [I do not know whether we can even qualify them as economic, financial, or political]. Only , the mercy of evolutionary inevitabilities, over a time may unfold and make us see what have been  hampered, hidden or helped among the multitude of possibilities- humanity is , in a way, back to square one, resigned and perhaps, humbled to accept fatalistic results, despite all its much hyped claims of and attempts to effect the changes it wants and the way in which it wanted to have them.

Work, labour, employment, job, duty

I am on the job employing all my skills and labouring hard to find out what is work? And I think it must be everyone's duty to do so. Setting aside nuanced definitions and nonchalant debates.

LEFT in the lurch, lurching WOKEISM and sponsored lurking MEDIA MAFIA

LEFT in the lurch, lurching WOKEISM and sponsored lurking MEDIA MAFIA

Everyone can smell the toxicity of LEFT in the lurch, lurching WOKEISM and sponsored lurking MEDIA MAFIA but many prefer to suffer in silence thinking that it may not directly or personally affect them.

The taphomorph (1) of ideologies presumes the entire population as suffering from parosmia unable to smell the different forms of rottenness between the LEFT in the lurch and the lurching WOKEISM – the two pharmakons (2) [of ideology] as Guy Du Plessis likes to call ideologies, in general, as such. To quote him, “The individual who is ideologically possessed is a “narcissist in wonderland” under the influence of “intoxicating fantasies”.

LEFT to WOKEISM is just putting lipstick on a pig (3).

I used resist as much as possible, from talking or taking specific positions in political ideologies (after all they are ideologies, and we can live without them) and religious doctrines ( they are a huge pile of socio-moralistic ethical preachings over centuries, some of which have certain values and ethics -which one may choose to follow or not and many others have become contextually irrelevant today).

However, in the present day global geopolitical atmosphere being over manipulated [ not that it was not there before] by the players of deep state and certain anti-development and anti-human ideology driven MSM [Main Stream Media] narratives having a damaging impact on Gen-Z, I could not afford the luxury of ignoring those ideologies and be indifferent.

Hence, I felt that beyond and besides The Republican and/or The Democratic loyalties [in the context of USA], what is at stake is the safety and security of the American people. Why any non-American must bother about America?

If America can be treated as a lawless free for all country, then replicating such anarchy not only becomes easier elsewhere, but the dent such anarchy makes in the biggest economy in the world will have rippling effects all over the world.

These may lead to global economic problems more than mere regional political workmanship or one religious institution winning over another. The impact penetrates beyond political ideologies, religious affinities, and regional imbalances, it is going to affect everyone's life across the planet. World doesn’t contain events in isolation.

So, unfortunately, no one can afford to fully ignore or be indifferent to either Politics or Religion , as they happen to be either nurtured as very important to guide every aspect of one's life in the case of religious doctrines; in the case of political ideologies- they act as rules enacting and legally empowered governing institutions.

The media mafia- the self-appointed high priests, the 19th hole (4) who are not active part of the actual game, who preach and propagate, empowered with the weapon of greater and easy access to anyone anywhere act as mass opinion generating or mad narratives spinning machines. They fabricate alluring frisson (5) to foment huge social impact, that leaves in the vast field of social engineering farms the  familiar fahrgasse (6) to influence the perspectives of children and the adolescents i.e. people of impressionable age and gullible to fall a prey to new nonsense or old stupidity [ the LEFT in the lurch , like the old wine served in newfangled bottles the WOKEISM] which has spiced up its original ideology [ as the ultra-LEFT in its original form has a track record on being impractical and proved ineffective all over the world - a  petrified ideology with putrefying perceptions and puerile  perspectives - something that deserves to be kept in the attic of a museum of fossil genetic samples]. However, their sensational appeals slowly but surely cloy, especially in their hyper enthusiasm to emphasis certain selective things by trying to blur the past, contexts, and the nuances,  they end up using ‘Contrastive focus reduplication’ (7) which brings to life the very things they tried to blur or bury , namely the past, the contexts, and the nuances.

WOKEISM is trying hard to revive it through various obnoxious means and as usual has the company of sponsored MSM [main stream media] and gullible academia to set the narratives of a plethora of plain hoaxes without any real authentic probable or verifiable data.

While talking about macroeconomics they blissfully ignore the inevitable macro level implementation.

While talking about social welfare they are clueless from where and how the revenue will be generated.

While talking about human rights they delve into selective amnesia and collective indifference to acts of violence.

While talking about environmental issues they ignore less polluting and cheaper energy resources.

While talking about equality, freedom, and liberty they engage in anarchy.

While talking about global warming hoax they forget that the age of the planet earth is not just from the day these Green Peace activists’ tomatoes, as Margret Thatcher used to call them ( they start as 'GREEN' and end up as RED') started spewing and spitting their ideological theories on everything from gender blunders to global warming wonders.

While engaging in victimhood peddling as a profession they don’t mind perpetuating poverty and hunger to sustain their profession as paid ctivists.

It is so unfortunate that they extrapolate their ideological fanaticism on to everything starting from culture to food to traditions to attires to the way language ought to be used and resort to interpret every possible piece of literature or culture to fit into the cages of their ideologically designed identity bias based templates [ the atavistic weakness to homogenize life ] and weave nice narratives around them [ resorting to trite reductionism].

For example, when studying global warming ( the planet is not a kettle on a stove) the yard stick must be at least a few centuries or generations. They need to study at least from 1800 A.D. Then, they will understand the climate cycles as well as nature's self-correcting mechanisms better.

This triad of LEFT,  WOKE and MEDIA are never tired of  talking about tolerance- Ankh-Morporks-(8) [ as per their version of it] forgetting that at the heart of evolution is natural variables available for adopting or choosing by anyone.

(1) The term taphomorph is used to describe fossil structures that represent poorly preserved, deteriorated remains of a mixture of taxonomic groups, rather than of a single one.

(2) In ancient Greek, the word pharmakon meant both "cure" and "poison."

(3) That spin does not work in an age of transparency, when everyone will find out the truth anyway ("you can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig" ( Wendy Greenberg in Newswwise Issue No. 200606, June 2006).

(4) Golfers refer to the “19th hole” as the clubhouse bar or restaurant where they go after finishing a round to enjoy a drink, socialize, and discuss their game. It’s often said that the 19th hole is where the real competition takes place!

(5) Frisson is a sudden strong feeling of excitement or fear; a thrill, promoted to create sensationalism.

(6)  Fahrgasse [German word] It describes the tracks a tractor leaves on a farm field. Usually parallel and evenly distributed, these tracks are used every time a farmer makes a pass over their growing field.

(7) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9ak89FwYeI

(8)  Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. The residents of Ankh-Morpork are willing to welcome everyone. No matter what sex, what species, and what race: men, dwarfs, trolls... all that they care about is how much money they have and how they get it from them.

Since WOKEISM is nothing but more rotten aspects added to the LEFT, often, one is tempted term it as ‘Old wine in newfangled bottle [ this expression itself is dubious]’. I too could not resist to revisit the book by Julian Huxley and especially the fifth chapter of that book. Here are a few lines from that chapter which make us wonder how predictable are the problems that certain ideologies pose and how the solutions are also available, if only we bother to notice and to implement them at individual as well as collective levels.

NEW BOTTLES FOR NEW WINE ESSAYS BY JULIAN HUXLEY

Chapter 5 New Bottles for New Wine: Ideology and Scientific Knowledge

Crude ideas on this subject can have most unfortunate effects on integrative ideologies. If men neglect the basic fact of the evil in human nature (including the intellectual evils of stupidity and error, and the spiritual evil of self- righteousness) and then proceed to ascribe the obvious evils of existence entirely to social conditions, the resultant ideology is likely to be a Utopian millenarism, in which the present reality is sacrificed to an imaginary future. This was true of Some versions of the Victorian belief in progress and characterises communist and all revolutionary ideologies. Such "pie-in-the-sky" ideologies bring us to the escape and compensatory functions of belief-systems. To all people at some time, and to many people much of the time, the world is an unpleasant or even horrible place, and life a trial or even a misery. All normal people at some time are oppressed by a sense of their own inferiority or, at least, inadequacy. Little wonder that many ideologies, religious and otherwise, are concerned with providing escapes from the unpleasant reality, compensations for the paralysing feeling of insufficiency. The escape may be via an imaginary millennium, or may have a more restricted goal (such as the last generation's idea of a War to end War), or may be into a Promised Land, or into bliss in a Next World. Sometimes escape is sought from the burden of self- its inadequacy and its limitations—whether through the orgiastic rituals of  some ancient religions, through asceticism, through meditation, through a sense of union with the divine, or through an agreeable sense of certitude in one's own Tightness or salvation. When an ideology of escape becomes escapism, it is clearly bad. It was this compensatory and escapist aspect of Christianity that Marx had in mind when he made the unjustified generalization that religion is the opium of the people. We must, however, note that escape is not necessarily a wrong or cowardly aim. All existence is always to some degree in some prison or other, and it is good and right to escape into greater freedom. Self-transcendence, the desire for social progress, practical idealism, hope itself, are all forms of escape, and can be good and right if they do not escape from external reality altogether into celestial pies and wishful imaginings, or from the internal reality of human imperfection into self-righteousness (itself a grave form of sin) and impossible certitude (itself a form of wishful thinking). Ideologies and belief-systems may also have as one of their functions the preservation of the power and interests of the ruling class or group. But to assert, as does dialectical materialism, that this is the sole function of all belief-systems (or even the main function of most, is itself a piece of ideological dogma, and demonstrably far from the whole truth. Religions are, of course, among the most potent integrative mechanising known—the very word signifies that they bind men in the bonds of common purposes. To discuss their integrative functions would take a book. Here I can only touch on a few relevant points. First, religions can divide as well as unite, so that a study of what gives them divisive properties is very important for learning what to avoid in building up an ideology which could be integrative for humanity as a whole. One of the most potent divisive factors is the claim to complete or absolute truth, whether of revelation, dogma, righteousness, or anything else. Systems based on any such absolute inevitably come up against new facts and new discoveries which are in opposition to their pretensions. The only method then open is to assert that the new ideas are also absolute, in the opposed sense of being absolutely wrong; and this at once creates division and shuts the door on synthesis and development. A claim to absolute truth may be dressed up to appear as a claim to universality: but in point of fact, it is always particular and not general, and can never become truly universal. Le mieux c’est l’ennemi du bien) and a pretended absolute is the enemy of true universality and of a 'real’ increase in truth. Religions can also be divisive in denying the unity of human nature, and attempting to project evil and guilt out of the individual and on to somebody or something else — usually a class or a foreign nation. Instead of treating the conflict in the soul as a natural phenomenon, which may be only transitory, since it is capable of being reconciled in the integration of personal development, the conflict is stabilized, made more permanent, and projected as an inter-group division into the outer world, where it then is capable of hindering human integration. There is still a more subtle way in which religions can be divisive. They can divide reality itself. This they do whenever they insist on the existence of the supernatural. In its earliest stages, when religion perhaps scarcely deserved the name, since it consisted largely of magic, it was naturalistic, though its naturalism was false or erroneous, for it was based on the belief that magic was part of the nature of things. Sacredness, whether good or evil, Mana, numinous qualities, magical potency, good and bad witchcraft—they were supposed to inhere in natural objects or people or rituals or forms of words, and were not regarded as emanating from another realm. Personification is probably rather less primitive than magic; in any case, its share in determining the character of human belief-systems seems to have increased during early prehistory. Thus, religious and magic forces came increasingly to be personified as spirits or gods, and this increasing tendency to personification was accompanied by an increasingly sharp division of religion into two disparate realms, of natural and supernatural. But the division was often far from complete. The gods of classical Greece, however supernatural in some respects, had partly material natures and lived largely in the natural world. Divinity then was not, as so often now, regarded as an attribute only of supernatural beings. It was quite natural to the ancient Romans to deify their emperors and call them Divus, for their divinity merely meant that some of the sacredness inherent in the natural order of things was, as it were, distilled and concentrated in their persons, as holders of their sacred office. In this the Romans were continuing the tradition of the priest-king, which culminated in the Egyptian empire, and of which Shakespeare's "divinity that doth hedge a king" is the latter-day dilution. The idea that divinity could accrue to a man as son or descendant of a god was also current in the ancient world, as witness all the legends of demi-gods……any modern ideology must concern itself with the community of man in its entirety, the potential One World of all the races, nations, classes, and individuals, past, present, and to come, that go to make up the human species; and accordingly must think of the narrower (if now better organized) community of the nation in relation to this larger and more lasting whole. The idea of the community and its future thus enters into our ideology to satisfy man's desire to work for something bigger than himself and more enduring than his own group or community, and his need to compensate for the imperfections and miseries of the present…….

In other words, any new ideology must not be dogmatic, and must refrain from any claim to absoluteness or completeness; it must utilize scientific method, so as to be expansive, flexible, and unitive instead of rigid and eventually restrictive or divisive. Tolerance, respect for cultural and individual variety, acceptance of difference—these are some of the counterparts of the scientific method in other fields. However, they themselves should not be employed rigidly or in any absolute sense, but in the same sort of way that the principle of the working hypothesis is applied in the natural sciences. The question of course remains, how such a mere intellectual analysis can become a social force, how a set of ideas can develop into an ideology, how the evolutionary concept of man's destiny can come to affect that destiny.

Past

The past in terms of millions of years of evolutionary memory carried in our genes and chromosomes ( much before we knew about them), the memory of our parents, family, region, mother tongue, regional food, culture and tradition etc. These memories are part of us even if we don't want or don't like.

However, it is left to our choice to host or to drive away the past in terms of socio-political ideologies and ideas as well as certain socio-cultural adaptations or trends.

In either case we need to know the past to make a choice.

Knowing the past need  not prevent us from change which in any case is inevitable aspect of evolution in every domain of life.

In any case philosophically speaking no one can rewind his/her life.

Perhaps
All Evolution
Stitches
Together the pieces .

Humans have the faculty of memory which is a double edged sword. Good and pleasant ones makes life interesting.

But it is memory and thoughts which prevent emancipation of human faculty beyond the intellectual strata as the great philosopher JK and Bhagwan Shri Ramana Maharshi have explained in so many words that to realise our inner self we need to first go beyond our thoughts and memory driven faculties.

It would be pertinent to mention what ― Idries Shah the great Sufi writer says in Reflections

“You have not forgotten to remember;
  You have remembered to forget.
But people can forget to forget. That is just as important as remembering to remember - and generally more practical.”
