English education -Spirituality need not have any specific, particular, prescribed practice.

 Has English education stopped people:-

1.From eating dosa, idli, sambar , rasam.

2. From listening to all types of Indian music.

3. From studying various subjects and excelling academically.

4. From their skills in arts, sports, maths and science.

5. From corporate success to political smartness.

6. From economic development to technological adaptations.

7.  From being nice, good, kindly people far better than many other cultures around the world.

8. Nothing which offers tangible benefits and value to the SURVIVAL ASPECT OF LIFE has been hindered in any way. Fortunately, many facets of LIVING ASPECTS OF LIFE also have not been impeded.

9. Spirituality, if understood as a manifestation of divinity,  may or may not and preferably need not include or involve any necessary specific, particular, prescribed practices of various aspects of rituals, traditions, religious rituals.

10. I think it has to be beyond identities and institutionalised prescriptions which are desperate attempts to glue the folks under a membership headcount obsessed way of promotion which certain religions, cults do where there may or may not be any element of spirituality or divinity but loads of formalities.

11. Even as recently as a few decades back a well educated cult swamiji like Chinmaya who created lots of institutions, and they have successfully done so, has written a 90 page book available as free downloadable PDF with the title 'Logic of Spirituality ' where he says, every individual may grasp according to his or her preference the spiritual aspects.  Some through just music and dance, some through following rituals, some through  intellectual or philosophical inquiry and so on. In fact he also, in my opinion, limited the means which he felt were essential.

12. Every field of study or pursuit or domain has too many paths or processes each having its own importance or impacts and outcomes.

13. The tangible and logically definable and decipherable outcome based aspects of life can have prescriptive methods of approach or techniques to follow.

14. However, as far as abstract and non tangible ones are concerned they need to be experienced and realised. Till then whatever prescriptions are advocated are vague guidelines presuming or believing that they may lead to specific outcomes.

15. Those who believe in the real manifestation of Divinity or Spirituality as all pervading , omnipresent and omni potential must not or cannot blame anything or any particular way of life as good or bad though they are necessary for socio- moralistic secured cohabitation like following rules on roads.

16. Our human life itself is always hanging  precarious alive though we may have assured to provide and to protect it with the best possible biochemical  mechanical movements based frame called our physical body but even for all these to function, it has to constantly float on a uncontrollable dependence of factor called the air we breathe, it is a two way traffic where we don't know what are the chemicals we inhale.

17.A small whiff of a few minutes of emissions from the Union Carbide leak finished so many lives and an unseen virus literally imprisoned everyone and stopped every activity.

However, even these are in retrospect investigated, deciphered to a specific cause and enabled science to nail the cause and culprits.

18. In simple terms, two people can share the same dosa and same sambar but how each one relishes is left to them. It is individual feeling and experience and not the fault of the cook, or the shape of dosa or ingredients of the sambar. We can't find fault on any of those factors or blame the one who prefers to eat the dosa without sambar or eats the dosa first and drinks the sambar afterwards or sinks the dosa in sambar and consumes it as a paste. At any cost we cannot blame the cooks language or lineage.
