Diabetes

 Let us get it practically. In India as it is in most parts of the world any medical diagnostic device, medicine, treatment etc are ' doctor centric or authentic medical professional centric' even the big pharma mafia is at their mercy. If doctors decline to prescribe, then, patients will not take it. 

We must have clarity , unless one is playing a role in a film  like Rajinikanth or Vijayakanth in the film Ramana ( where he will reform education sector, health sector, transport sector, bring labour reforms, correct bureaucracy, judiciary and question the elected representatives - all in all azhaghu Raja or omniscient and omnipresent ozhungu pu..ai) but in real life , nowadays, thanks to access to information and knowledge everyone can presume to be a half baked Leonardo Da Vinci and some may manage to articulate like one as well even without even bothering to understand the topic or the subject. 

Precisely, because of this, no one is a real Da Vinci in today's world where decades  of advancements, contributions, researches and changes have enhanced the field of specialisations to such an extent that there are specialists for every nuanced aspect in any field.

So, trying to become a Da Vinci or ape one will only expose one's ignorance and give room for parasitic exploiters who will  praise and sing one's glory through lyrics full of ego m​assages.

I have the bad habit of reading a wide range of literature, out of curiosity, if there is any health issue. 

When my wife has an undiagnosed or wrongly diagnosed shoulder joint pain ( after all doctors are also human beings and they go by permutation combination and conclude what they deem to be the most possible cause or scenario and address it).

I read 32 books on Shoulder joints and all the brachial nerves in the 90s - now it is easier with internet references. 

Regarding diabetes all these or any of the grandma remedies which are flooding the social media will come to a stand still when suddenly the complications increase in the patient. 

Any medical system cannot be advocated based on claims or heresy,  but must be backed by enough clinical trials, authenticated proofs, measurable parameters and well documented study of cases and processes of treatments. 

For the first 30 years even the qualified medical professionals have fixed a specific figure as diabetic then changed it recently, once the supply chain was not able to meet the demand. 

Even in allopathy both the patients and doctors know the primary causes for diabetes may involve addressing the twins 'Ghrelin and Leptin' through consuming foods that have low glycemic index because after decades of multiple research they have realised that the production of beta cells in the pancreas remains a mystery because once the T lymphocytes start attacking beta cells in the pancreas they continue whatever medication one may administer ( they are like Tom and Jerry). 

Any hormonal/ endocrine disorder cannot be over simplified and addressed. Due to their biochemical nature they elude repairs. 

If it were a structural or mechanical problem or a plumbing one, surgery can work as in fractures, heart surgeries or even neuro surgeries. But neurological disorders which occur due to biochemical disorders cannot be cured. We can at best make them into politicians and bureaucrats.
